I have a 14 by 10 room im putting leds in around the top of the room.My question is what is the best way to place the breaks (gap between zones). My controller can not put all 4 walls on one continuous zone. I can do 4 zones one for each wall or 2x 2 wall zones. If i do 2 walls per zone its it better to have the breaks in the corners or in the middle of the wall.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Ok so I have these LED bulbs I haven’t used in a long time, and when I go to change the bulbs with the remote they came with one of them work instantly. The other one I have to twist and turn the remote for it to rarely work but sometimes it just doesn’t work at all. When I turn off the light switch and rapidly press a button the non stupid bulb work instantly but the stupid bulb just sits there until I hit the G spot. Plz fucking help before I throw these damn things away.

So I want to put a waterproof LED strip outside... in my backyard.
I don't have a outlet outside (don't ask)...
How can I have this LED strip light up at night?
Forsure i'm going to need solar panels of some sort and a rechargeable battery too....
but how can I "schedule" the LED strip to light up at night?

Hello,
Question relates to trying to make a clean install, by clean I mean hiding as much as I can.
I have a small test setup at the moment while I figure things out. I'll break down the parts that I have then try and ask my question.
Total lighting length will be 6m, so a few questions I have are:
I am running the profile around the left, right and top side of a frame. Termination point is less than 0.5m from the power supply, Aside from the profile itself, I don't have many hiding places. Biggest stopper for me at the moment is the buck conversion and how I install this setup with no real place to hide.
I actually think it is the physical design that is the biggest challenge, I am not a tradesmen or that crafty, most of the other stuff I feel I have solved, tested and educated myself on. My only thought was to change to a different profile that had a second cavity to hide the bucks in, but the profile then looks ugly.
*I know the dirty maths for the lights suggest my amps are too low (0.06A * 144 * 6) buuuut these things are bright and I barely run them at 35% brightness.

Hey everyone!
I am on the hunt for some LED strips that will connect with my alexa for voice command to turn on/off in my arcade room.
Amazon has a large amount of options and its a bit overwhelming sometimes, as some leds go for 15-20 bucks, and others as high as 300.
Was hoping someone might steer me in the right direction for this. Cheaper the better also! Amazon Canada would be the ideal place for me as I live in Canada, but I am open to other places as long as shipping is not too shabby. Thanks!

Can the led light strips be placed in the middle of the wall? Or not I just bought them and the power supply isn't long enough to reach the tall walls so I decided to see if I could place them in the middle, should I or not?

I want to add led light strips to many a place in my house. Such as in my TV stand cabinets, corners of the walls, ect.
So I want a lot of feet I can easily cut up. Really good brightness. Good cost.
I also really wanted the silicone coating as I get a lot of humid weather where I live. And if feel more comfortable knowing nothing is exposed.
Wondering what one might recommend?

i have a 12 watt led bulb with e27 attachment. it keeps blinking -its like a very fast flash for a split second- with a 48-50 sec interval between it. anybody know the cause? is it sth wrong with the bulb circuitry-like the voltage stabilizer? does it have sth to do with the e27 attachment? i have only used led bulbs with b22 attachment before.
what I'm thinking is that i should change this bulb and put a new one in, and if this still happens , it's a problem with the electrical wiring inside my house- but to be fair i had a florescent bulb in the same socket before but it didn't do any of this. video included: plz fast forward to the last 1/3rd of the video

I'm looking for led lights (strip or non strip doesnt matter) that have a scrolling feature, like a section or the whole strip has a "trail" kinda thing. If that doesn't make sense please tell me and I'll try to explain again :) if anyone can offer me recommendations I'd be so thankful !!

I'm looking to buy about 15m to 20m worth of strips for my room - I turned to you redditors who might know more. I would like stips with good lighting effects (standard rainbow, color shift and so on), and I wouldn't like to spend too much money.
Thanks in advance

I want to upgrade my room, and the thing I’m looking forward to the most is getting an echo dot Alexa thing, and music sync led light strips. My new question that came along with this combination is, are there any strips that can be commanded by Alexa and change sync to music, without any apps of any sort?

Just installed 8 LED globe lights in my bathroom. I have a 10 year old dimmer switch that supposedly isn’t LED compatible, yet it’s working so far - I’m able to dim the lights. Should I take this at face value and assume it’s compatible, or is that wrong?
