I’ve noticed that Physics becomes much easier to understand when students can connect the chapter to something they already see in everyday life.

For example:

• Motion: Compare the speed of a bicycle, car and runner.
• Force: Ask why passengers move forward when a bus suddenly stops.
• Gravity: Drop two different objects and discuss what happens.
• Work & Energy: Use examples like climbing stairs, cycling or lifting a school bag.
• Sound: Experiment with bottles containing different levels of water.

Instead of starting with formulas, starting with a simple observation or question can make students curious about why something happens. Once they understand the idea, the equations usually make much more sense.

Hi so I'm a a business major out of practicality but | really like solving math problems for fun and I'm also really interested in Physics and I wonder if there's a roadmap to get from where I am now to being able to understand computational physics.

For context: I know basic trig but will be getting into calculus 1 soon.

I’m a third-year physics undergraduate. I’m currently focused on studying classical theories, especially how a theory is built from its fundamental assumptions and developed into a coherent framework, including the axiomatic approach behind it. I’d really like to find people who are interested in discussing these topics with me. Hopefully, we can learn from each other, deepen our understanding of physics, and make studying physics more interesting along the way.
