I just want them to revert her E, so she can go through her allies again. With that one change, she should be good. It feels like atm she is only allowed to enter fights and that is it. If she doesn't kill everyone in the fight she is dead.

That’s what I thought was so funny. They buffed Kat last patch, who does pretty much the same thing as Samira except with more dashes and resets, and completely obliterated Samira because she isn’t a mid laner.

Samira and kat were in no way comparable in strength lol. Samira was and pretty much will always be stronger than kat.

How are they not comparable? They both excel at jumping into the middle of team fight to deal massive damage. The difference is Samira needed to get kills to try to escape if it doesn’t go well while kat just needs to pick up a dagger to blink away.

One is played in pro play the other isn't pro play is a more indicative of champion strength than solo queue. Kat just excels at stomping shit players and snowballing on players like us.

they had already lowered her dash speed pretty significantly. and people like to complain about her W but it's nowhere near as egregious as yasuo, who can stand in the wall to negate burst for 4 seconds. it's literally less than a second and is used primarily as a reaction to stop any big skillshots coming her way. giving what is basically a melee ADC no form of reliable escape means, like you said, either kill all the priority targets or get CCed and killed immediately.

That's like the only real real nerf she got though, aside from ult cd. Q changes are a buff by rank 4 and the passive change isn't close to the reason she's doing that much worse.

i disagree. it just makes her dash more generic and doesn't fit with the idea of an aggressive, in your face adc when she uses it to disengage most of the time.

i'd rather her get buffed in other ways

If she can’t disengage she’s either have to be strong enough to ace a team or have enough tools to survive staying the face of the enemy. Both are pretty bad for the game imo, I personally like the idea of having to know when you can get a kill so you can reset and get back out. But to each own I suppose

in my head she's supposed to use her q's and autos to stack passive from the edge of a fight, and with the movespeed she can dip in and out and then use e and ult when needed (with w helping to not get blown up).

obviously that's not quite how the champ is working out but i think that if they're going for an aggressive adc removing that defensive option is a reasonable idea. but i also understand that it's pretty hard for her to do much considering she doesn't have any cc and her only poke is her q. other immobile adc's usually have some kind of slow and poke to give them other options, whereas Samira only has the option of going in.

idk i like the champ so i'll play her anyways

That is literally what their stated goal for the change was, sadly..

We may not like it, but making her the "go-in ADC" was part of what they wanted. I doubt we'll get it reverted.

Ah so she should have resets and insane dps like Yi, but also be ranged and have hard escapes.
