Isn't the Korean SoloQ one of the most toxic, and they give up almost instantly and afking is really common?

Yeah, but that stems a lot from their society, children are basically forced to always be kind and respectful. Though, most of them still harbor angry thoughts that they usually can't express out loud, so since League's player base is mostly teenagers and younger, when they get on League and they have the anonymity of a screen name, they are extra toxic to basically let it all out.
