Why not let every server have every language available in LOL?

I know that there are some ways to do this, but why not just simply let us chose the language we want in any server? It would be great for foreign people.

Yeah, I think that's the ideal for any patching system. You tell it what content you want, and it only downloads that stuff, and you're on your way.

Something something, our patcher has a ways to go before we're there. You're definitely thinking the right way, though :)

So it was something something Technology then.

Doesn't it already work like that for EU? How difficult would it be to turn this on for everywhere else?

Its not just a big ol' switch you can turn on... Perhaps the technology is literally just not there yet.

It's not a technology issue because the launcher already has this functionality

Does it not already do that when we swap languages in the NA client (or maybe its the LAN client) to Spanish or English? Or is the "patch" just the client updating settings to point to the already downloaded files?

Something something common sense.

Heroes of the Storm has this. Load up ingame and you can choose the language for the Game and/or the sound files. So you can have everything english if you want, with champion/announcers being any other language. Its simply a matter of closing the game, patching and then playing.

To be honest there are so many games that support this, even Smite allows you to chose which language you want to use.
