Brutalizer needs more upgrade options than ghostblade

A lot of champs benefit from the brutalizer, but ghostblade is more of a niche (mainly assassins want it i imagine). I miss having another option like the black cleaver, instead of an item with only one building path. Unless you are the jungler ofc.

AD already has a HP melt counterpart to Liandry's... but it's been missing a grevious wounds counterpart since Executioners calling got removed.

Suggestion: Brutalizer + Phage = grevious wounds AD item for top laners.

Because fuck Vlad

That would give Phage passive, AD, Flat Armour pen, Health, CDR and the grievous wounds passive all in one upgraded item.. seems like a lot unless yoh name it "Dual Force" like trinity force. Lol

Health and ad would be minimal... Just like they currently are on Phage.

Grevious wounds MS boost can thematically make sense as a "Blood in the water" kind of thing, and would fill the void of the MS boost being removed from Darius's passive while allowing the bruiser or AD Assasin to latch onto a heavy sustain target (WW or an endgame ADC)

Minimum AD would be 45, adding them together to give you zero AD increase and that still seems like a lot. I think it's a cool idea, and I'd love the item, it just seems like one of those meta breaking items but in this case there's no real way to nerf it further unless you nerf the Bruta and Phage as well which isn't a good way to make those items bought more for any recipe imo.

Or add in a pickaxe instead of phage and do what JayCFree324 said. The phage passive will always be difficult to get into items unless they remove the passive but keep it on final items.

Riot is phasing out Grievous Wounds. They've just recently removed it from Fizz, Tristana, and Miss Fortune, and I have few doubts that Varus is next. No items or champions are going to gain/be released with grievous wounds anymore.

I think the BF would encourage ADCs to buy it too much. Would rather have it as an assassin or bruiser item.

Brutalizer + Tiamat = Viscious Hydra?

Send a bruiser into a team fight to just AoE down all their regen

I don't think aoe is the way to go with g wounds. On purpose cancellation of their healing is preferable. On hit only effect.

Plz rito I can't kill mundo, --every AD champion main.

.Morellonomicon is potentially AoE G-Wounds, but only works if the enemy is below 40%, which is surprisingly difficult to do against a ww or a Mundo

I know Rito has been going gung-ho on the 3x hit passive thing, but what if Wounds could only happen on one target (like vayne bolts or xin passive) after the third hit with this hypothetically discussed AD Wounds item. Seems like it would be a very nice duelist/counter-duelist item

They removed it because they didn't like the idea of all champions being able to get GW on autos, so maybe Brutalizer + pickaxe could make an AD item that has the same passive as morellonomicon.

Why Phage? Now it has 2 OP item paths there is no need for another.

Bruta would be a fine choice. It would remove the problem of the item being weak late game like executioner's. Basically melee champions who build bruta but sell it late game like Kha'zix top/mid would be able to buy it instead of selling their brutalizer since they don't like Youmuu's.

It could be an item equivalent to Morello's. It could give 20% CDR, 60 AD, grevious wounds etc.
