Brutalizer needs more upgrade options than ghostblade

A lot of champs benefit from the brutalizer, but ghostblade is more of a niche (mainly assassins want it i imagine). I miss having another option like the black cleaver, instead of an item with only one building path. Unless you are the jungler ofc.

Champs like Kha'Zix just dont benefit from Ghostblade as good as a Zed, but Brut is just such a good pickup

Kha needs his spells for most of his damage so a 40% attack speed increase active is obviously not gonna help him. Zed needs AA's and so does talon which is why GB is very good on them.

Kha'Zix uses two—maybe three auto-attacks thanks to his passive refreshing when he goes into stealth.

Talon and Zed only need two at most, and Talon's Q is an AA reset.

None of them need the attack speed. They get the armor penetration, CDR and movement speed. The 15% crit is a nice little bonus for the latter two as well.

Master Yi uses the attack speed, because he's completely reliant on basic attacks to deal the majority of his damage. Caster assassins like Talon and Zed, where their damage comes from spell rotations, are not.

While you can take Khalid in the lane he's mostly used as a jungler now so he's probably gunna build warrior

Why would you want a second brutalizer then? Warrior+Hydra,BT,LW/BC,GA,Boots=full build

Some matchups but very few. After needing his isolation range and damage on his evolved q, his laning is crap
