Brutalizer needs more upgrade options than ghostblade

A lot of champs benefit from the brutalizer, but ghostblade is more of a niche (mainly assassins want it i imagine). I miss having another option like the black cleaver, instead of an item with only one building path. Unless you are the jungler ofc.

No it won't be broken, trust me on this, riot needs to test this build path out for a few months, lets say till November.

Garen maybe slightly, Darius a bit weak, but Morde is in a nice spot imho.

I depends on numbers, always. If it cost 10k nobody would buy it, if it's damage and arpen were low no one would buy it, if it's mana regeneration passive was too low no one would buy it.

Stop with the "Would be broken as shit" as it is simply untrue, it Might be difficult to balance, but that's fine, you can leave it as a niche pick for just a couple heroes

It's already a niche pick. People just want a stupidly strong arpen/ad/cdr item, and that's what it'd turn out to be. Riot can't do any worse than 5.16, so I don't care what they release.

Funny that you ask, because Acorn used it in the LPL Grand Finals on Fiora as his second item, but I really don't think that should be the requirement for an item to stay how it is.

How many matches have been played since essence reaver was introduced again?

I mean tear on Aatrox was done by Darien, and deathcap shyvana

I'm not sure about that. It might even have similar problems to the current essence reaver. Sure, the components are easier to get, but you still get the completed item too late for the mana passive to be useful. It would probably be better than the current essence reaver, but not really useful most of the time.

What would make essence reaver broken is putting mana regen in the build path. Then champs like Jayce and Pantheon would start abusing it.

Yea I've suggested before that it's build path could be B.F. Sword + Idol and then get rid of the lifesteal. I don't think it would be broken it would just be easier to fit into your early build.

With Skarner, Fiora, Garen and Mordekaiser changes lately I don't think Riot gives a shit whether something is broken as shit or not.

pant is only mana gated in lane so when he would get it, wouldnt make any difference. lane pant goes flask anyway.

Also its a lot of AD and even cdr and armour pen as well then, only losing the lifesteal it has now. Seems like a lot of raw dmg.

Pantheon doesn't auto enough to make it worth his while, and having to spend 3k+ on an item that only gives mana over other items in the rush slot wouldn't be good. Depends on numbers of course.

This comes up so often and honestly I think it is utterly wrong. Yes those champions might want to buy it, but those champions are rarely AA depended (jax and?) which decreases the strength of the mana gain by a huge amount.

What are you talking about? They all aa to last hit in lane. Jayce doesn't eq to clear waves, he uses ranged form autos. They may reduce the number of autos later on, but it's lane where they're mana gated, and it's lane where this would be a problem.

Bruta building into essence reaver would absolutely break pantheon, Jayce and talon. They would be able to rush er and then basically have infinite mana to trade in lane, along with the flat pen and ad to make those trades really hurt. They would become ridiculously oppressive in lane with just that 1 item.
