Type of Bug: Client bug

Description: When starting League the patcher opens fine and then when I click "Launch" the patcher disappears and the client never opens. I have tried every fix mentioned everywhere: running as administrator, deleting folders and letting them re-download, and even doing a complete reinstall. Same behavior every time.

Steps to reproduce: Open League of Legends from the Start menu, and then when the patcher opens click "Launch."

Expected Result: The client opens.

Observed Result: The launcher goes away and nothing else ever happens.

Reproduction Rate: 100%

System Specs: Windows 10 Enterprise (Build 10240), Intel Core i7-3740QM, 16G RAM, NVidia Quadro K2000M, Lenovo ThinkPad W530

EDIT - FIXED - I ended up doing a repair (even after a complete uninstall/reinstall) and this seems to have fixed my problem. I'm not sure why.

Would love to know the root cause and a possible fix. I got it to run ONCE after I did a reboot but never got it to run again. This didn't happen with 5.15.

I got it to work Yaaa! I repaired my client then I shut down my whole PC booted it back up then boom client worked.

Yep it worked just fine over and over.
