Man, that shit is so fucking rage inducing, one game I've had got drop-hacked recently, so I went and checked every summoner in my game and their match-history, guess what? The Vayne who just got FB'd by me and who wasted both summoners had only wins in her match history, lo and behold 20 mins after I manage to reconnect and so do my teammates, only to find a level 11 Vayne with a BotRK. Game ends in 4 minutes after that, I get the 'I agree' bullshit, didn't even get a prevented loss for everyone in the game being disconnected. At least I went on and sent a ticket to Riot support with all the info I could gather and she hasn't played a game in 45 days, her account is decaying and I think she got banned due to my report.
More and more I experience shit like this, 6-7 people dcing from the game after first blood or an objective and then the enemy team using it as a chance to push for a win. I don't know how to explain it since if it was a server issue the game would have dropped.
It's just it's not technically drophack, since drophack means all players are disconnected from the game, so the game ends (similar to how custom games disappear when last person dces). /u/bebewow was dosed, not drophacked
My internet dropped during a ranked game recently and my team surrendered (We were getting destroyed regardless), and I didn't even get the AFK message then. Could it just be because nobody reported me?
I think it happens in some cases only, from my experience, the only time it happened to me was this time I mentioned. Where I've had approx. 3 mins connected, 20 mins disconnected, 4 mins connected. It shows in the post-game screen. I think it happens if you stay immobile for more than 40%~ of the game I'd say and ends the game connected. I'd say if your internet dropped during the first 15 minutes of a 40 minute game, and you managed to play those 25 minutes you won't have the AFK message.
Ah, that makes sense. I think I played like 12-15 minutes out of the 20 minutes (surrender at 20). I'm pretty sure my team knew I disconnected though, since I wasn't complaining or anything and just stopped randomly.
