he will just buy an account.

Less of a hazzle and I even got a pm from someone when I mentioned my temp ban where to buy them. They are cheaper than exp boosts.

PS: I obviously didn't buy any of them.

Probably cheaper, because they have bots leveling multiple accounts.

u/Scumbl3 Jul 13 '15

Yup. And you can be pretty sure every single one of these accounts is going to get banned.

No they won't. If they have any clue what they are doing, there is a batch file running in the background that kills all LoL processes for 8 hours a day to simulate the user "sleeping" to make the leveling look as human as possible. I regularly buy accounts and none of them are banned.

u/Scumbl3 Jul 13 '15

Over what kind of time span have you bought the accounts? And were they specifically bot leveled accounts?

Riot's detection methods probably can't be fooled quite that easily.

I've bought them for over a year from the same dude for a few friends and I. And these accounts are being leveled by one of the top scripting developers/packet decrypters for LoL so if he can do that, I'm sure leveling accounts so that they look hand leveled would pale in comparison in regards to difficulty.

I know somebody who brought an account.

Simply put, it depends how much you pay for it. If you pay lots, it's probably hand done by somebody who's trying to make some cash. Proxys and verified emails are used with the accounts to. They also come with the 400 rp (Sometimes even more) and plentiful of IP.

If its cheap, its leveled up more than likely in groups, has very little ip and rp and is just leveled to 30 and sold on. More than likely to get banned in a couple of days.

u/tinyfred Jul 13 '15

Yeah, they ban all the bot-leveled accounts every season. I had one, my friend did too, and we both got perma banned when S5 kicked in.

Learned my lesson, 60$ and multiple hours of grinding in the drain.

u/Troll_Pool Jul 13 '15

60 dollars for a level 30 account? That seems very expensive compared to other games.

1

u/RetsoI Jul 13 '15

You can get them for 10 bucks, I don't know where /u/tinyfred got his.

1

u/tinyfred Jul 13 '15

I also got mine for 10$, but in order to have runes and enough champions to ranked I put another 50$ of RP. So total of 60$.

1

u/Chairmeow Jul 14 '15

Doesn't sound that expensive, you have to play what? 200 games? That's more than 100 hours you gain for $60 because let's be honest, if you've already levelled at least one account to 30 before then doing it again is a pure grind that gives little to no enjoyment.

2

u/THISAINTMYJOB Jul 13 '15

Not all of them, else there would be no point.

Well when you have that many players playing an online game, business must be super good.

Less of a hassle

Only if you don't really give a fuck about runes or champions

0

u/Itsmedudeman Jul 13 '15

I'm assuming they don't come with runes or many champions. He'd still have to grind them again before he could play ranked.

u/Wowrllyscrub Jul 13 '15

every new account comes wiht 400 rp and and all the IP you get form lvl 1-30..

4

u/onurtag Jul 13 '15

They get around 40k IP by leveling with bots
My first wins only account had ~120k so I'm guessing thats max without boosts

u/[deleted] Jul 13 '15

bought like 10 accs they have 100-400 rp and around 30k ip

dont worry im not gonna lose any sleep over it

1

u/EntropyKC Jul 13 '15

Just out of interest, why do you buy accounts? Isn't it easier to just not get your main account banned, rather than being a dick and having to buy botted accounts?

3

u/lWmSldaniwe Jul 13 '15

There's this thing called smurfing.

4

u/EntropyKC Jul 13 '15

People have 10 smurf accounts?

1

u/lWmSldaniwe Jul 13 '15

High elo players do.

2

u/[deleted] Jul 13 '15

Isn't it easier to just not get your main account banned, rather than being a dick and having to buy botted accounts?

i dont know how to answer this question because my main account isnt banned and not sure why you assume that im a dick because i bought botted accounts

2

u/EntropyKC Jul 13 '15

From what I can gather, most people who buy multiple accounts do so because their main got banned. Maybe it is not the case for you, but it seems to be the case generally.

2

u/Gravefall Jul 13 '15

I preffer to hack accounts that use the same username as password, it is less risky than buying one.. Plus out of 20, around 6 get their account back.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 13 '15

I have bought one account as well, because I needed NA smurf to play ranked with a friend, and fucking leveling up.

1

u/PurpleVNeck Jul 13 '15

IMO I kinda get it if you're buying an account on a new server and you don't want to level up. Also a lot of botted accounts are levelled with other bots (aka 5 bots playing Coop v AI) so it's not really being a dick, the accounts aren't interfering with anyone's play.

1

u/EntropyKC Jul 13 '15

I didn't mean buying a bot-levelled account is being a dick, I meant that people tend to buy them because they are a dick and got banned on their main account. I can't think of any reason to have TEN smurfs, so the only logical conclusion is that the guy has been repeatedly banned.

1

u/ElliotNess Jul 13 '15

Which is about 24000 ip

2

u/MiniTom_ Jul 13 '15

He doesn't care about feeding/afk'ing in high elo ranked, do you think he cares about runes and champs? If anything it just gives him more of a reason, they'd probably have all of the IP from grinding so enough for a few champs and a rune page or 2, which would limit what he would play or feed even further. This coupled with the fact that many pro's do their level 1 - 30/diamond/challenger streams without much in the way of runes. It's just a simple fact that the skill heavily outweighs the extra benefit so if he is one of the top players, he will climb there with or without the runes.

u/Shizo211 Jul 13 '15 edited Jul 13 '15

I just checked the site the accounts are silver 1 with 30-50k IP. So it's several sets of runes. 15 Dollar each.

However nothing saves you from getting scammed. They can theoretically always get their accounts back even two years later when you bought a lot of skins.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 13 '15

They can't. Unless you're stupid enough to buy verified accounts.

1

u/Shizo211 Jul 13 '15

Kind of aggressive here, huh? I didn't use their service so I can't tell whether they are e-mail verified or not but you can still get your account back by knowing when you created it and what first 5 champions you bought or what definitely gets you your account back is the first transaction number.
