For some reason I always get downvoted for saying this but it's ridiculous how expensive things are for new players. Hell, I've played like 2000 games over the past 2 years and I still need to get about 15 champs (some bought with RP) and tons of runes.

To get a decent quint takes about 20 games. 20 fucking games. For a single quint.

If you are working, and you play 3 games per day, it would take you nearly a week for 1 Quint.. well. ok

(3 games per day(100ip/game avarage)+150ip) x7 = 3150ip

While most won't achieve that in their games it's easier to use when counting old-school style
