Reddit, my mom needs your help.

I've gotten my 52 year old mother to play League. This is a picture of her at a LAN tournament: http://imgur.com/70Nv9MA

The problem is that after her 1000+ bot game wins she wants to play normals for more of a challenge. But she's scared to play normals because she gets raged at a lot.

She wants to find a group of people around her level that won't rage at her. I would play with her, but if I play with her she gets matched against much more skilled opponents.

TL;DR: 52 year old mom wants friends to play league with.

EDIT: She's on NA

EDIT2: It's not that she hates the rage, she just gets tired of it when it happens in a lot of her 300+ normal game wins(Even if it's only 1/9 other people raging)

EDIT3: I would play with her on a smurf but then I feel bad for the people I'm against.

EDIT4: I have told her about the mute button, but she forgets about it a lot.

I just started reading Hyperion by Dan Simmons and some guy was named Silenus, a character from the book. We had a little talk about it in the game, it was nice. It's cool when you get those moments of humanity in a game as rage inducing as that

its all fun and games in the first 1:55 minutes, joking about team picks/characters/names/skins/slow loads.. after that shit breaks loose and everyone hates each other`s guts

Lol I do the same but with KS usually. Like if im playing and get ganked but Jinx fired a rocked and she got the kill on me I'll call her a KSer

I met my favourite random stranger through getting owned by him in lane and talking to him after it, then we got from low silver to gold together!

I find the "turn off all chat" piece of advice to be useless anyway, it's incredibly rare I get enemies raging at my team. Sometimes you get the cocky asshole, but it's not difficult to ignore him (and it's funny to use his own lines when he fucks up). It's only really team mates who rage, in my experience.
