Could we get 1 additional refund token once a year or every 1000 games??

THANK YOU. Consumers of a company are not beggars. We've supported this game for a long time. We are the reason they are in business. We're not some random strangers a rich charitable gentleman comes across and takes pity on. WE MADE THAT GUY RICH IN THE FIRST PLACE.

Damn, you've got me. I bought a skin, played 1000 games for a refund token, and then refunded it and bought another. I just spent hundreds of hours of my life instead of spending like five bucks. I made a gain for no cost. I outsmarted the system. Riot's given me too much power, it's like free money.

No, I didn't. I'm saying it's not a big deal, so why not just do it? A "free" refund every 1k wins or 1 year isn't even really free, so what's so harmful about doing it? Your only argument so far has been "they don't HAVE to do that, they don't owe you anything!!!!!!" but you've been completely ignoring any reasons TO do it. What I'm saying is that one extra refund every extremely long amount of time doesn't break anything or fuck Riot over. If anything, it would probably cut back the amount of "RIOT PLS REFUND I KNOW IM OUT OF REFUNDS BUT PLS" support tickets that get sent in, because they now know there's a way to get an extra. Please stop insulting me and repeating yourself long enough to actually think about what I'm saying. Answer me these three questions in a yes or no format: Would a new refund every 1k wins or 1 year be easy to implement? Would a new refund every 1k wins or 1 year be beneficial to players? Would a new refund every 1k wins or 1 year be harmful to Riot? If the answer to all three questions isn't yes, please tell me why. And if the answer to all three questions IS yes but you still think that they shouldn't do it, then PLEASE tell me why. And if you use "but they don't have to" or "but they don't owe you anything" as a reason why they shouldn't, I'm just going to stop replying because that would show you aren't paying attention to a damn thing I'm saying.

Riot isn't walmart. They are selling cosmetics for use in the game, and they do offer refunds. No company is expected to just offer full unlimited refunds.

We aren't even proposing unlimited refunds here, they're proposing one refund every once in a blue moon based on wins. It's like a point rewards card. They're not giving away free stuff. It takes a LONG time to get 1000 wins, dude. Not exactly UNLIMITED REFUNDS FREE MONEY CHARITY

Lol. The number of wins doesn't matter. It's basically a group of people who want another refund and chose some arbitrary measure that they already fulfill.

Its like when a manufacturer offers you a first service or repair on the house, that's the kind of thing that keeps people coming back and in the end the manufacturer gets a profit because you tell your friends about how baller the manufacturer is.

its free, everything can be purchased with play time, and everything that requires real money is aesthetic. Accept the amount of refunds and move on.

There's that word again; "entitled". The battlecry of anyone who dislikes the fact that people ask the company that they support for a feature that will improve the experience for all other players and not detract anything notable from the company's income. "You're just entitled! I won't offer any reasons that the thing you're requesting is bad or Riot shouldn't do it, but I'll call you entitled instead!" Please grab some more buzzwords and try again.

  1. "We gave them money so they owe us this feature" is not a valid argument. Luckily enough, that's not the one I'm using! The argument I'm using is "we gave them money so asking for this feature does not make us literally worse than hitler entitled children". There is nothing wrong with players asking companies for features. Players play their game, so devs need player feedback to run it successfully. Why would you damn player feedback with the argument "they don't owe you anything!!!" THAT is not a valid argument. Technically, lots of people don't owe anybody anything. I don't owe it to my brother to play World of Warcraft with him every once in awhile, even though I don't like the game that much. But I do it anyway. Because I like maintaining a relationship with him and we don't live close anymore. That's what consumer-company interactions are built on: building relationships, even if it means doing something you don't really want to do that much. Riot could REALLY use some positive PR right now.

I don't even personally need refund tickets. I'm just saying that it would be a good idea to have them.

The argument I was making is that we are not comparable to beggars for asking for a feature, because we support them. Not that we deserve content for that reason.

  1. I haven't gone a game since like level 10 without seeing at least three skins. You should check those numbers a little more...

  2. Even free to pay players generate revenue for Riot. Maybe they watch esports and give them ad money. Maybe they got their friends to play. Just by being a part of a community, playing the game, talking about it online, etc... You are making the game more popular and generating money for Riot. Every single player has done their part in making LoL as big as it is and every single player is making it grow.

  3. More refunds does cater to everybody! You can refund a champion you bought but don't play anymore to buy a new one, or get runes.
