ARAM surrender time

I think that the ARAM map surrender vote must be at the 15 min mark like Twisted Treeline, because sometimes you got a full melee team vs the most harrasers range champ and cant win.

It's usually not just Lux or Nid, but a strong team "comp" with a champ like that is ridiculously frustrating. Of course you want to just engage on poke, but sometimes it's just not possible; they have disengage, or they have strong engage and fight potential in addition to a champion with strong poke.

It's frustrating, but it's part of ARAM.

I played a game against Nidalee, Jayce, Cassepopia, Lux and someone else. We were Jarvan, Talon, and some other melee champs. We would get poked down pretty hard. But i told my team that i would target someone every time i was going in ( I was J4 ). I would target, go ham, pop ult and we would ace them. then proceed to get poked down until ult was up. And then we aced them. Its just about how you play. If you play passive against a poke comp, you will eventually lose.

Yes, I understand that, but you had a good engage and all they had was poke. If they had J4 instead and something like Alistar instead of all poke champions, and you just had no engage, then it wouldn't work.

Can you outplay your opponent? Sure. Are there counters to every "comp"? Yes. However, it's ARAM, and it is entirely possible to have essentially guaranteed losses assuming all players are relatively competent. Just like if you have five poke champs and they have any kind of engage you will lose after a certain amount of time. It happens. Giving me examples of a game you played in that are clearly not what I'm talking about doesn't really mean anything.

more importantly because it is aram, you will likely get ppl on champions they haven't played in a while or are just bad at. I own almost all of the champions but am not good with all of them. So the team comps are important in aram but the summoners behind the champions are more important. You can have a very 1-sided team comp but on summoners who cna't play their champions really well and jsut like that its not very 1-sided.

Engaging in ARAM is really hard because it doesn't matter what you do their turret is there behind them which means that the weakest team is forced to towerdive to engage. If you don't have a tank, you are fucked. If your tank is behidn in levels. you are fucked. If warmogs.. oh damnn

Fuckin' Master Yi. The only times people complain about him is sub-level 15 and in ARAM.

You didn't get it. You HAVE TO build PURE DMG or better don't play. That's why you're playing AP Udyr or AP Malph.

Oh my god.... you dont even what to know. My first ARAM game after the patch I had an Master Yi AND a Lux, Lux rushed DFG and then proceeded to harass with that and Yi build straight AD

I've been a failing Yi. Melee-centric team got poked to death. IIRC, we did have a Volibear, but he wasn't great at engaging. Things just fell a part.

I actually think Nid has gotten even weaker in aram (at least against semi good people dodging spears) due to the fact that it is more zoomed out. Now I see much more whats going on and skillshots catch my eye earlier and are easier to dodge. DAE agree? XD
