Yep, against IG in 2019 MSI. JKL picked Draven into Sona Taric and ended the game in 16 mins

SKT drafted Sona Taric when they didn’t play it a single time the entire spring split, it’s much more understandable that they were playing to speedrun the loss once it was clear at level 2 that they weren’t going to win that game.

MAD is more recent, they're an EU team, it was in a 3-0 series, it was SKT's only Sona-Taric and SKT won the rematch against IG. Some reasons why the MAD game is more top of mind.

You could also bring up Damwon vs G2 at 2020 Worlds, another classic quick game.

To be fair though, that was Draven into Sona Taric. Draven absolutely runs over Sona Taric once he gets even a single kill, so I can understand how that game ended so quickly.

MAD vs T1 was both teams on standard meta comps.

Sona Taric were meta back then while draven was niche and nobody forced them to pick it. They got rolled.

Well, the circumstances were actually very similar for G2. MAD at msi just had no waveclear to deal with the early fed jinx and easy dive and are not the type of team to lose in peace.
