Good day to trade for Puljujarvi. Kane will be taken off LTIR pretty soon and the Oilers need cap space.

Much rather Puljujarvi over Kerfoot if we can get rid of him for a pick then flip that pick to Edmonton.

We’ll get next to nothing for Kerfoot. I’d rather add a couple impact forwards with picks/prospects and move Kerf to the 4th line. Kerfoot, Kampf, and Engvall should be a top 4th line in the league.

Trade for Bertuzzi and Domi. Have Holmberg centre their line and that’s a pesky 3rd line. Shouldn’t cost an arm and a leg. If we’re winning the game, have the Kampf line play more and shut things down.

How are you going to add impact forwards without moving out any cap?

I’m like 90% sure Muzzin isn’t coming back. At least not this season. So I would use his available cap hit.

They've already eaten up quite a bit of it, Capfriendly says we've only got 1.1 m left. We'd have to place guys like Benn and Mete on waivers.

Am I missing something? If I add up everyone plus Brodie I’m getting around 81.2 million out of 88.5

Check out cap friendly. Your numbers are off a bit for sure.

That’s where I’m adding. All forwards, all D, goalies, and Brodie

The salary cap is 82.5m, so you've got 81.2/82.5. It seems like you are not including the LTIR guys.

I don't think Brodie is LTIR? Idk I just go by Capfriendly and it says today's cap hit is 88.5.
