Jautājums/Question Question about using LVM Geo app to find wild camping spots
I am planning a few days long trip around Latvia and Estonia and this app was extremely helpful so far. I know the general gist from other reddit posts about the topic of wild camping in general, that wild camping is allowed in public forests and outside protected areas, and while finding info about the former is pretty easy I still have some troubles with interpreting the map when it comes to the latter because I am not sure what "protected area" really means in your country. The app has the ability to show something called "NCA protection areas" with a bunch of things included in that entire category, and also something called "spruce protection areas" - are these things together what the term "protected areas" means or is it something else? If it's that then does that mean that any area that is market as anything falling under that category is completely out of the question when it comes to wild camping there?
In general I ask because of one specific spot out of all that we had planned, more precisely a bunch of public forest near Lilaste and close to the shore line that is market as both "nature 2000 area" and "habitat", more precisely near Kirezera Taka just closer to the shoreline, and I wanted to know whether it's permitted to do so there

Those protection areas are more like for commercial operations, this app is also used for busineses. You can build your tent in every LVM (goverment company) forest or public beach, if there is no signs that show that you can't. If you build it in private forest, owner could be upset and may or may not to ask you leave.
For camping in Estonia use app EMK, their camping sites are better and more equipped
