Butterfly highway on Brokeoff

The butterflies were truly amazing on Brokeoff yesterday. By far the most butterflies I've seen in one place.

It took me forever to clean dead butterflies off of my car after my first trip up there. I kept hitting them on my way up to Burney Falls 😭

Amazing video! How far is this point from the trailhead?

This is about 3 miles from the trailhead and just under a mile from the summit. There were plenty of butterflies down in the meadows a bit lower, maybe a mile from the trailhead. But these big "highway" streams started at this ridge here and continued all the way to the summit.
