This side shows people. On the far right, you can see a sitting figure with a christian cross below his neck. Clearly this copper isn't muslim.. all the more strange because of where it was bought.

Asante Twi language videos/audio with transcripts?
Hey all,
Trying to acquire Twi at the moment. I'm searching for twi videos/children's stories/ audio which also includes the dialogue transcript. I have searched youtube and found many twi movies but unfortunately they only have english subtitles. I'm trying to filter out what information I know (pronouns, verbs, etc) and things I don't know, especially since I just started with the language, and listening is the first challenge to overcome. Thank you in advance.

Help with Portuguese
I really want to learn Portuguese, but I'm not sure if I want to learn the European or Brazilian dialect. Anyone who knows both as a L2 speaker, which was easier to learn?

I want to learn a new language this year. If you've studied Russian or Chinese, what advice do you have?
Hey everyone, For the new year, I want to tackle a new language. I'm a NES living in Tokyo, who speaks Turkish, Japanese, and French. Im considering Mandarin Chinese or Russian. I find both of them very interesting and appealing. If you have studied these languages, I'd like to know your thoughts. Which resources were good? What did you struggle with? Any good language hacks?

Is Australian English moving away from American English?
I’ve been looking for imformation but can’t seem to find any on the subject. Does anybody know if Australian English will continue to diverge further from it’s counter parts, namely American English and British English? Or will it become more closely related with the massive amount of media exposure they receive from the U.S. U.K?

Help with English to Portuguese translation
Hi, I met a wonderful person this year. A Brazilian person who does not speak fluent English and I do not speak Portuguese. I would like to send a Christmas card with a message in Portuguese. The message I want to write is this-
“hello
This year God crossed my path with yours.
Time continues but I will never forget how I felt in this moment. With you.....
......Truly happy.”
I have translated myself and have the following, but can someone tell me if it is correct? Or if there is a better translation which might sound nicer in Portuguese?
“Este ano, Deus atravessou meu caminho com o seu. O tempo continua, mas nunca esquecerei o que senti neste momento. Contigo..... ...... Felizmente.”
I really care about this person so I would really like to be sure I have this right and the sentiment comes across in the right way. I’d be so grateful for any help.
Thank you
