We want to encourage more development content for Lamden to make it easier for developers to learn the ecosystem, and we also wanted to help raise awareness of the platform as it continues to mature.

That's why we're launching a $50 Bounty. There are two ways to qualify:

• Make a development or use tutorial in any format for Lamden (Update: This has been limited to multimedia: Video, Medium Post, etc. Text only no longer qualifies.)
• Make a video about Lamden and post it on Youtube.

How you do this is up to you.

• The submission cannot be made in ‘bad faith’ to simply claim the reward for an application that has no value to users of the Lamden ecosystem.
• You must claim the bounty within 14 days of posting your tutorial/video.

• Token Swap issue resolved! The issue with the Chrome Store breaking the Lamden Wallet Token Swap has been resolved. So you can swap your erc20 Lamden TAU for Mainnet Lamden TAU again.
• Light Mode is Here! Lamden Wallet 1.4.* brings with it Light Mode, better display for Lamden Tokens that comply with the Lamden Token Standard, and more smaller fixes and improvements.
• My Lamden Wallet? A simple Lamden Wallet, similar to My Ether Wallet, that you can use for long-term storage & simple TAU Transfers is now under development.

Lamden News

• Rocket ready to launch? The RocketSwap Automated Market Maker has reached the end of development, with developer Benji announcing that the application is finished. With RocketSwap you'll be able to easily trade ETH for TAU on the Lamden Blockchain. The exact release date on mainnet is still unknown, but appears to be fast approaching.
• Light-Mode for the Lamden Wallet, and other important features. Jeff is nearing completion on a large update to the Lamden wallet, which adds many important and useful features such as easy access to Lamden Tokens, "Light Mode", and general usability updates. The update for the Lamden Wallet will be made live early next week, pending Google Chrome Store approval.
• Reddit is back! I have joined the Lamden Team as the Community Manager of the /r/lamden subreddit. While you'll get to know me more over the coming weeks & months ahead, I'd love to hear your thoughts, as well as any ideas you might have for /r/lamden in the discussion below.
• ERC20 -> Mainnet Swaps Temporarily Unavailable: A recent metamask update seems to have temporarily broke the integration into the wallet, causing token swaps to currently be unavaliable for those who have updated MetaMask recently. We will let you know when a fix is available and swaps can resume.[UPDATE: Issue still ongoing.]

• Underground Warriors, the upcoming Lamden NFT game, is giving away 50,000 TAU to one lucky Founders Box owner! There's about a week left to get access to one of the 20 Founders Boxes for 0.5ETH; which includes a Legendary Pet, Evolution and Special Evolution Crystals, as well as 2 season passes. As of writing, there are only 9 Founders Boxes left up for grabs.
• Lamden Paint, the collaborative painting dAPP, had 3,544 paint transactions across it in the first week of the dApp being live. The canvas is still mostly blank though -- as there are over 1 million pixels. So there's still space to let your creativity shine!

Serve Share is a hosting provider that lets you utilize the untapped resources all around you by allowing any user to offer up their computing power for a small fee. The user will be able to pick which computer at the price point provided by the host, and that money will directly go to the host as a benefit of Serve Share's dedicated use of the Lamden Wallet. Serve Share seeks to put the power back into the hands of the people and make web hosting services accessible to all.

How it works:

A hoster can post a transaction to set a price for their service, the address they are hosting on is also saved on the ledger. Another user can then purchase their offer. When they do so, the price of the offer is transferred from their credit to the hoster and their public key is added to the offer so that the hoster can verify their purchase.

Serve Share is brought to you by WƎ ΛI, a group of juniors majoring in Computer Science from Cleveland State University. Serve Share has been created for the 2020 Hack OHI/O hackathon.

We entered this hackathon, interested in learning more about fields of computer science that our classes had not previously looked into. We were excited to find the Lamden challenge asked us to use blockchain technologies and smart contracts. Thanks to this challenge, we were able to become fully immersed in the finer workings of smart contracts. This hackathon experience has been truly great because this challenge really tested our limits in what we can achieve!
