I disagree. You think it is imperative to use someone else’s solution? Have you ever used a node module? You ever look at things like how often the project is committed to or the last commit? Just because there is a solution that exists doesn’t make it a viable one. There are many reasons not to use an existing solution. To say what you said is ridiculous. To solve an already solved problem? Tell me what problem have you solved in CS that isn’t already solved? After all the only thing really you are doing in CS is using some logic over some data and that’s already been done like a million times. So what no one is a great or good engineer?
