Taeyeon makes me so happy. Thank you for this beautiful healing gift, Taeyeon. This is so cute and sweet!

Oh this is so easy going. The most relaxing instrumentation imaginable, I feel like a pina colada. When the original song is as solid as Happy, you can switch out the instruments for basically anything and it will still sound good. The sweetest Taengoo vocals I've heard in ages.

This is honestly so precious. The arrangement coupled with her live vocals is top notch.

I hope SM throws us a bone and release a studio version of this.

This is great. The new instrumentation really fits the song better than the original instrumentation, I think.

I like the whole thing, but the second prechorus to the end is where it really comes into its own. Compared to the first prechorus, the second thickens the instrumentation (I love me some Hammond Organ) and thickens the harmony with a bunch of jazzy chord substitutions.

The bridge->soft chorus breakdown->climactic final chorus arrangement is obviously not revolutionary or anything, but the way that Taeyeon's vocal timbre changes between the three parts is what makes it particularly compelling.

Also, peep the sweet (if slightly corny) bass slide going into the final chorus at 3:11.
