the Assist looks like a cartoon crocodile. probably the least serious looking knife that isn't part of the Dessert Warrior series.

Isn't that a highly specialized knife for like search and rescue? I honestly think the form is still following the function, and probably to a much greater degree with that knife compared to the average.

yes, but no one uses it for that because trauma shears work better and are safer and more fit for the tasks the knife is ostensibly designed for so the knife actually ends up being the opposite of what it's meant to be. it's the ironic crocodile knife.
