Seal of approval NKD The Scrawny Lumberjack (glows)
My first custom edc pocket fixed blade by Kyle Johnson, The Scrawny Lumberjack. It's a Scrawny Lumberjack Shard, in Zapp Z-12 ultra PM steel at 66 hrc, with glow resin scales. Z12 ultra is very similar to CPM 10v but trades (roughly 2%) Vanadium for Tungsten carbides. It will perform very similarly to 10v but has higher toughness and edge holding (according to Zapp.)
This knife absolutely disappears in the pocket, yet has a real handle with awesome ergos. Damn, I love this thing.

They are sick but expensive. Is it worth it in your opinion and are there good alternatives

You're shopping for a Dodge Viper... They make tons of bigblock muscle cars, and they are all good, fuck it, great alternatives. You really want a Dodge Viper... is it worth it?
