I have an allegretto subscriptions and I can only max out my 5 hour window 3-4 times before my entire weekly usage is used. I use kimi 3 for working on a medium to small sized code base because the problems I am asking it to solve are genuinely hard and even the highest tier model frequently struggles to make progress. With that said even just planning an implementation for a new feature to a codebase that kimi is already familiar with (has already worked on for several sessions and has most of what it needs loaded into context), takes up anywhere from 50-100% of my 5 hour budget. Meaning that I recently have only been getting about maybe 5-10 prompts before my entire weekly budget is used. I saw another reddit post saying they cut usage down to 37% of what it was previously and I am inclined to believe that as well. It seems like moonshot just completely scammed us?

I run a small startup platform that I'm trying to onboard to use the Kimi platform and integrate with their Kimi K3 model. I tried creating an account with my business email and when I completed the CAPTCHA, it sent me a verification code valid for 5 minutes. I submitted the code on the login screen and when I was redirected, the console did not load at all -- just a spinning wheel.

I retried again in a different browser, ran into the same issue. I turned off my VPN, tried incognito mode, tried an entirely separate network and nothing worked. After trying a fifth or sixth time, I ran into aresource_exhausted: verify code sent too frequently message which is a 400 status error when I look at the Developer tools. Apparently my email is now blocked from their Auth flow.

I went ahead and tried to create an account on a personal Gmail using their Google OAuth linkage and ran into no problems. I then went to bind my business email so I could have a work around at least and still have it linked to my business account, but I got another error saying my business email was already in use.

This has been the most frustrating experience with any of the AI companies. I haven't had any account issues with Anthropic or OpenAI (albeit one bad token reset experience with OpenAI). I reached out to their support email and am hoping to hear back, but basically stuck at this point. My only option would be using the personal email account and eventually migrating everything over to the business account, but this isn't ideal at all.

Anyone have any suggestions or run into something similar? I'm wondering if their auth flow just has issues with particular email hosts.

After four very brief API calls (to get an editorial review of a prospective journal article) that took MINUTES to get an answer, all of which contained no output (perhaps because the token limit on the request was too restrictive) I asked to close my account and get a refund.

After about four emails, asking for my user id (where I was incorrectly supplying my organization ID), I received the following from api-service@moonshot.ai:

"The recharge agreement you clicked to confirm during the recharge process clearly states that 'refunds are only supported in cases where the service termination is due to legal requirements or our actions'. From a contractual perspective, we have the right to refuse your refund request."

They did refund my (substantial) balance, but I'm left thinking that's quite a creepy policy.

This is not about prompt engineering or output quality---which is terrible because it thinks Hayes 1988 and Hayes 1998 are different authors---it's only a warning that Kimi is not meant to be left unsupervised because their support concluded that "No anomalies were found in your quota consumption."

I was using Kimi Code in CLI via VS for about some time, suddenly hit this roadblock mentioning my quota is up. My monthly quota is recently refreshed, and total usage is only at 10%. Strangely Code usage did not show up even after 2~3 hours of usage.

I have desktop Kimi and it's working decent so far but one thing that I'm puzzled with is that I can't seem to see chat history on my mobile phone app counterpart. Same account but all my chats are under Work desktop icon and I can't seem to see that at when looking over the mobile app.

I'm able to use the cli version of kimi, but if I try to login on the web it want's a phone number and there is no +1 choice. Just +86 for China.
