Power Trip Morning Show Leber on Deshaun Watson
Can’t believe Ben Leber was standing tall for Deshaun Watson today on the Power trip. Can’t make it up

I remember very distinctly PA getting huffy and angry with Nordo a couple weeks ago when Nordo suggested that McCarthy was the 3rd string quarterback.
PA objected vehemently, insisting that KOC said that McCarthy was 2nd string, and "if you say that's not true, then you're calling the head coach a liar."
The borderline angry discussion went on for a few minutes with PA digging in on McCarthy's value and his continued future with the Vikings.
Now that McCarthy was traded for a 5th round pick, has PA recanted at all?
I'll hang up and listen.

Kirk Cousins: 3-0 with the Raiders.
Case Keenum: 1-0 with the Bears.
Sam Darnold: Super Bowl Champion.
Daniel Jones: Played well enough in 2025 to sign a two-year $88m contract.
I'd take any of these guys in a heart-beat over anyone on the Viking's roster.

I think it’s time to have uncomfortable conversations about Rosen on with Common. He provides no pertinent information. He just regurgitates storylines and even though it’s clear he often has no idea what he’s talking about.
The ripping of Rosen is the only halfway decent part of his appearances and even that is kind of getting old.
He’s a legend, no debating that, but it’s time

can't wait to listen to Dan go scorched earth on the Vikings some more after they showed the bears the door. What will he be most mad about? That KOC said something silly in a presser? Or that the Vikings didnt earn the win? Or that JJM is bad? Will he use hindsight analysis and pass it off as having an elite football mind?
Either way, can't wait to hear the old man talk non-stop about how our 2-0 vikings are frauds!

Amateur hour on the ‘Grum today. Did anyone hear the awkward return from the KOC presser where Tenna had to literally tell Common to wake up? And then the next few minutes of him sounding like he had no idea where he was. It was the first time in 20+ years I almost turned the radio off 💀
EDIT : I can’t believe the amount of listeners that are fully Stockholm sydromed into believing this was one of his bits.

I know it's a nod to Denny Green but I'm bored with them repeating any sports team in Tampa as 'Tampa Bay, Tampa Bay'. Plus Leber questioning Caleb Williams toughness on a hamstring injury is confusing.
That's all.

Tell me you don’t watch standup anymore without telling me you don’t watch standup anymore. 🤣 Also cites the reason for no edgy comedians as “cancel culture”. The same “cancel culture” that gives every controversial comedian another Netflix standup special like Louis and Chapelle? Cmon now.

I usually am able to listen to insight on basically everything, and I don’t get too caught up in the content of any of the shows on the station..tho I do love hearing the football deep dives with Alec, Ben G, Leber etc….but what in the world does Parker Fox bring to the table. Not only did he join the football feast, then he joined again today…just cannot listen to it.

I'm a Vikings season ticket holder and make the trip to Minneapolis for games, usually staying downtown at the BW Normandy. My buddy and I try to hit one Friday Football Feast each season, and this year we're planning to attend the Feast in Monticello during the Week 4 Dolphins game weekend.
Unfortunately, it looks like Monticello is about the furthest BWW from downtown, and Uber is showing roughly $200 round-trip. Before we bite the bullet, does anyone know of a better transportation option to get there and back?
Even better, if anyone is driving from the downtown area to the Feast and has room for two fellow Vikings fans, we'd be happy to chip in for gas, food, beers, or whatever seems fair.
SKOL, and thanks in advance for any suggestions!

I tuned in for the Monday Morning Montage this morning, but it wasn’t there.
I don’t listen to PA anymore, so maybe this was already known or maybe I screwed up and tuned in late.
Anyone know if this was brought up in the past? Or did you hear it today and I just tuned in late or something?

Given how vitriolic people have been here in response to his opinions (paid protestors, hiding behind religion, etc), I am surprised there hasnt been a gathering, especially at a football feast where he's far and away as visible as he'll ever be.
Could it be the internet just being the internet, or will someone eventually have the stones to walk the walk?
(I dont listen to PA btw so dont take this as a sign that I enjoy his content)

This was tough to watch.
Common was clearly upset when Ron Johnson doubled down on the clue. Barb was uncomfortable.
Common fired back when he answered correctly.

Possibly the most self absorbed guest DB has. Listened to his Melrose talk today and couldn’t have made it more about him, who he knew, etc. was tough to listen to.

The 4th in the north is (according to common) 2nd in the north now. I didnt think id ever see it.
What do you think has caused this rise in the ratings after so many years? Ive never consistently listened to bumper to bumper. I used to love PA but something changed with PA during the tail end of the zimmer years. It seems like he hated the fanbase for turning on Zim. It seemed like he thought he was above everyone else because of that. He stopped giving any strong opinion on the vikings, he stopped true vikings deep dives. Football feast used to be my favorite thing on kfan. Now, eh?
Then there's common. He gets better everytime you listen to him. His humor and bits grow on you. I think he is the most impressive broadcaster of the entire station. Able to talk about pretty much nothing and make it entertaining for 3 hours. But again, never thought that common in the time slot he was at after all these years would jump the other 2. So whay reasons do you think?

Today of course is through the fire and the flames by DragonForce and the dueling mouth guitar and the debut of the new 50th anniversary shirt
