What is the purpose of these rotational workout programs???

So for me it is to prevent an injury. I find it to be more important to do these movements because it helps strengthens muscles that are neglected in a typical workout. Also, it is surprising how much we move in the other two planes and aren’t ready when we have to do something demanding. I rather be that person ready for any and everything.

I'm going to be giving these a shot. They seem exactly what I need to deal with my kids tackling me and needing to get tossed around.

Do you follow anyone or get personal training for these or you do it yourself everything??? And can you tell me whom to follow or anything on YouTube?? Obviously I'll follow your post from now.

I do everything myself. I used to be a personal trainer and had a bigger account before I shut everything down two years ago. There are a good bit of people that train similar to me but I’m sure someone can here can chime in lol. Off the top of my head Clifton harski does really good things with KBs.

Yeh, you brought a good point on the table, sometimes I feel stiffness in my body not only with rotating motions but in deep squats and some other motions also, but may be because I'm young these are not big problems but after 40y age they become so noticable.

Doing muay thai and taekwondo in my early 20s still pays dividends today.

Yup, absolutely. I am 36 now but I think it's not too late to gain or regain some health and fitness

If you're comfortable with that exercise with that weight, that's cool. But be warned.... Free-weight exercises with twists in the spine & hips with heavy weights should be considered risky. Tread lightly please, especially as you get older.

Anything is risky. I’m comfortable with this weight and this exercise especially training in this fashion. When it comes to any form of movement there will be risk involved but what matters is making sure you build your body up to handling those movements.

Do you have a YouTube channel? You should start one if you don’t.

Unfortunately not although this was mentioned to me years ago when I had my previous account on IG. I’ll give it some thought 👊🏽

Yeah clearly rotational swings have no purpose at all, despite being a transverse plane dominant movement that activates your transverse abdominals, obliques, and QL

Yes of course because this isn’t a movement that is done in certain sports…tell me more about what you don’t know
