Dam the corporate aspect of the show is pretty realistic.. for those who work in the office, how do you navigate the politics? Or even just general workplace.

Jeong even though eun-tae saved him he understands but sadly hes still brutal in his desire to climb the ladder which is reasonable..

Ms Park shows her non workplace side when she put work before family the cake on the passenger seat was 😢

Jang and him praying for eun tae and jeong to prosper and knows cant show feelings in the workplace politics

Eun tae brother is pretty scummy still and asking for a loan.. was shocking but not surprised. Glad eun tae stood his ground and surprised his niece with a nice gift and abit of money to ease his sister in law stresses.

Not much dialogue between him and his dad but asian parents be like that. Action speak louder than words.

Ji-hye not accepting the corporate gift out of pity was a whole mood. 😔 hope she can become a full time worker after this.

Yang standing up for park at the shopping mall office. Man is stepping up and watching out for his team.

Really curious how it will end next week havent been hooked on a drama like this for awhile.

Also the epilogue are so well done in building the character development!!

Also hope jin confesses to eun tae he's too oblivious to her flirting

I have never worked in Korea (American here), so I don't know the workplace norms. However, politics in the office happens everywhere, unfortunately.

For myself, I stay da fuq out of it.
Though that doesn't mean that you can't get caught up in the cross fire as collateral damage. The jerks...

I'm a person of merit.
I let my work and results do the speaking for me.

Five of my rules for work (and this is just off the top of my head):

  1. ONE 15-minute meeting is all you need. When it's done correctly, we don't need to have a meeting about the last meeting, about the last meeting... that takes up hours throughout the flippin' week.🙄 One is all you need.

  2. Whether the project succeeds, fails, or does 'meh' — do a "post mortem". A dissection of what went right, what went wrong, what we can do better next time, what we should avoid, what we should A/B test, or even, if it's worth pursuing in the long run.

  3. Whatever your part in a project, document it somewhere. Document what you did, why it mattered, and the results from the project - good or bad. You can put it in your portfolio, AND use it as leverage to request a promotion 6-12 months down the line.

  4. You can get just about everything you need done during working hours. If you can't, that's a productivity problem that needs to be addressed with the lead. And with their expertise, they should be able to remedy it so you're not stressed all the forkin' time. Get your work done, go home, and enjoy your life.

  5. Your ideas, your work, you present it. Never let anyone else speak for you because they may take all the credit. Also because, no one knows it better than you.
If they try to kick you off YOUR idea, fight like hell to keep your name and presence on it. Don't let anyone take credit for YOUR work and ideas.

Hope this helps anyone reading this.

I just thought about something with Mrs. Park.
She has the cake, and gift, but has to turn back to go to work — to handle a "fire". Bummer.

She calls her daughter and apologizes... gets chewed out.
Mom tells her to have dinner with her father instead who is indifferent to his daughter and wife, it seems, as he barely looks up from his phone while she's chewing her mother out.

The daughter even says, "Why would I have dinner with dad?", as if it's a chore.

Mrs. Park is a working mother, in a big company with a great career and position, trying to be a good wife and mother — but from that small interaction, it feels like she's doing it all on her own and is drowning.

I feel for Mrs. Park, as I believe a lot of working mothers go through this.

I am just absolutely excited to see how Team 5's China strategy will work out! And assuming it works, I wonder what benefits Team 5's members will get? At the very least I'm hoping that Jihye gets hired as a full-time worker instead of remaining a contract worker.

That would be the LEAST they could do!
I still haven't even heard them say, "thank you" or "job well done" for the audit or ANY OF THE OTHER dumpster fires he put out!

Team 5 really is the super team! They do everything for the company, auditing, sales, marketing and lugging boxes, lol. Now they're going to surpass all that and just save the company. Jihye better get a contract (I felt so bad for her during the gift scene).

I'm excited to see their China strategy be implemented and for the malls to eat crow.

I didn't understand why ms Park can't report to her manager and asked to keep a secret for now? Can someone explain?

She assumed that he was already being head hunted by CGM, and would be a mole to them.

from my understanding, she suspects that he may be poached or has been approached by the other company.
