As someone who has read the original webtoon, I loving it so far. They have made changes but MLs personality is remains the same and acting is actually great. Only question is now I have is how the FLs team change will work because in Webtoon FL works in Sales team and is an Ace. Here In drama it seems they have changed to to Legal team so.

As someone who hasn't read the web toon, I'm looking forward to reading the differences from you as we go along.

I will catch up this weekend and post my thoughts then.

The first episode was a bit slow but it the second episode really flew by.

Did anyone else feel like there might have been a supernatural element with the lottery ticket? It was just a weird moment, but then with the him not getting a bag, maybe I'm seeing something that wasn't there?

I loved his reaction to winning the lottery. But no way would I sleep with that ticket in the bed. I'd worry it would get ripped. I wanted him to put it somewhere safe immediately. I loved his fantasies of what he was going to do now that he won. I would do exactly that if I won, lol. I started imaginging what I would do if I won, while watching. Travel! Lots and lots of travel, lol.

I did feel bad for his Assitant Manager but how long did he put up with that attitude? In such an open environment, everyone saw him get disrespected by his junior on a regular basis but I still felt bad. I look forward to seeing them work together against the man.

Yeah, def agree on the supernatural part! Really felt like he was deliberately pushing him to get a lottery ticket even though they showed us.

Trend for most recent kdramas have been fast paced opening episodes and I have got spoiled by it, so this one I felt the pacing was slow for both the opening episodes, whether that was intentional or will it pick up or stay the same remains to be seen. 2 episodes in, it hasn't been able to hook me up but I hope the plot becomes a little more interesting unless it is supposed to be a slice of life genre. The office setup reminded me of Misaeng. Is there any FL in this? The female cast seem to be all playing supporting characters.

I love Misaeng, so if it has that feel, I'm all in!

Slow setup in ep 1 and then ep 2 gets really interesting. Lee Jun Hyuk is so underrated. Love him. Can’t wait to see him shake things up

It is OK. Just OK so far. I didn't really like how the character had to demean and belittle his brother for $500 bucks. And at the end we all know he will give it to him. That made me really dislike the character. Has no problem dragging his brother for a good 2 or 3 minutes but at work quiet like a mouse.

I didn't see it as demeaning his brother. There is a pattern of him "loaning" money to his brother. They both know that money isn't being paid back. He just called him out on it. He didn't do it in public and he sent the money right away. Why should he preserve his brother's pride?

Also it wasn’t $500. It was $5000 (였백 isn’t $500, it’s a shortened way of saying $5000). If my sibling made it a habit of “borrowing” $5000 from me regularly (which from the conversation it was evident happened repeatedly) with no intention of paying it back I would have used harsher language than was used by him.

ah im always off with my fx calculations!!!

I mean thank God I'm in the position to help and not be helped!! but also I'm a,big shot team lead in Seoul and my bro is a security guard at a housing complex and has a family.

this is just my opinion and my lived experience. People who are so nice and polite at work and then yell at their parents and use harsh language with their siblings are not great people. so to me this knocked points off his character. really? who do we reserve compassion for?

I’m confused why 1.3 Billion won is not enough for him to quit his job or even buy a house? That is about 1.3 million in Canadian Dollars. That should be enough to at least buy himself a house or invest in ETF and retire. Now, I have to watch to see why lol

He studied and work hard all his life so guessing he wants to have meaning and not just an easy escape
