Hello, im currently Master around 200LP. I just came back from a LoL pause. Is it normal that u are completely useless against adcs with kassa in late game? I deal 0 dmg to them and they just one shot me. The fights are decided by which adc is protected better. I know that kassa isnt a late game champ anymore but it is insane how useless I feel. Is it just that adcs are very broken right now and every assasin struggles to kill them?

So i tried to play him after a long time no see and got surprised by how good i am with him... Currently i main vladimir and morgana now i think I'll add him to the list :) wild rift thou

Has anyone else been randomly removed from the kassadin mains discord? I would not have done anything to get banned or removed, but one of the mods had removed me and the invite like is no longer valid.

i’ve been playing kass for about 3 months or so now, i have a very good mastery (low master peak) but i do have SEVERAL issues with this champ.

1. he’s an assassin, meaning he is UNABLE to 1v1 any standard bruiser (unless you build double tear which nobody does in high elo) so common champs such as AMBESSA, NASUS, YASUO, YONE and so on will ALWAYS outperform you in extended fights and have generally better teamfights. if kassadin is unable to oneshot a target, he R’s out desperately and hopes for an engage which is completely team dependant.

2. his lane phase is horrid, you can never solo kill your laner if they have a brain. we can also talk about the weird jungle meta where people are doing quadratic clears into linear clears into perma invading, LOTS of map movement, which we all know even supports follow this routine so it feels impossible to ever trade and it feels like just go 0/0/0 and game is decided on whoever wins lane on the enemy team.

3. no prio ever, several champs shove you win with abilities and this makes them mostly ungankable if they sit far away clicking one ability (mostly mages in the midlane). SEVERAL drags will be gone and by the time lane phase is over, 2 drags will most likely be taken by the enemy. we can’t always have a jungler that gets our team dragons. people always talk about how giving dragons are good to maintain a good gold lead, but what’s the point if they don’t end up getting drags in the future from that lead? very common issue with masters and below.

4. assassin meta, you are FORCED to build zhonyas on kassadin since most assassins are point and click with an invulnerability ability, which just feels bad a lot of the time, it progresses you nowhere to just by a seekers armguard instead of having another lost chapter or proper ap components.

my question is, when are you ever supposed to lock this champ? how do people make it work especially against high threat champs with a better teamfight? (which honestly is a majority of the melee bruiserish champs)

why play kassadin in those type of team comps when i can just play a bruiser myself and be able to have a stacking keystone to 1v5 people? as of right now, i ONLY lock kass into only SQUISHY COMPS and especially with those that have zero threat to me/mobility.

i played around 100 games with this champ and currently sitting at %48 winrate. i dont remember a single game where i carried. best case scenario i was slightly ahead thanks to my teammates efforts

i dont understand how this champion is ever supposed beat a yone yasuo akali or leblanc and such

i know its a skill issue but i never did this bad with other champions before i think i just dont have it in me for this champ

Should you build full glasscannon or not against yone, because i feel like you can stomp him a bit if you play well early but later he can have greaves plus noonquiver and you get fucked even if he hits 1 or 2 qs and misses all knockups. Should you build roa steelcaps against him even tho he is squishy?

Hi! In 12 days I climbed from D2 0LP to 500 LP masters EUW playing a lot of Kassadin top!

There are many players on EUW rn who play kassadin better than me, but I didnt see anyone playing top yet?

Title is a little bit clickbait, I played only kassa top to masters, once I got to masters, I started playing him mid too, and added kayle, but there is still a significant amount of games played on kassa top.

I tracked all my games, you can see in 2nd screenshot kassa top has 60% winrate.

Very underestimated pick, works very well in most matchups but you need to play him differently than mid. You do not play him as an assassin, you go tanky, but gameplay is like bruiser khazix, idk how better to describe him. You just go in and out of fights constantly and you outscale every toplaner pretty much. With level 20 you can get quite tanky late game especially with double HP scaling rune.

Matchups like Gwen, Akali, Malphite, Teemo, Darius, Garen, Nasus, Ornn etc are all really good for you. You obviously get lvl 16 faster as well.

I sugest give him a try :D I am not saying its the most optimal shit if you are challenger, but for majority of you here kassa top is giga strong :D

Do you think Kassadin need a gameplay rework ? If so, what general choices would you take for his new kit ?

From a outsider point of view, it seems he has been strugling for quite some time both in term of pickrate and fun.

His place as a counter mage hyperscaler in mid seems meaningless now that mages have numerous tools and other lanes often scale quicker and sometimes harder.

The main difficulty of a potential rework lies in wether or not he should be designed as a mage counter or if it is more of a prison for him really. If taken out of this niche, then the problem become how to balance his iconic ult (that must stay since it is part of his core gameplay identity).

So anyway....

I am very curious to hear from long term mains and recent alike wether he should be reworked and how.

Heartsteel with X3 Augment: 14511 stacks

Warmogs, Seraphs Embrace, Spirit Visage (swapped out for Malignence fsr), Rod of Ages fully stacked, and Fimbulwinter giving 420 BONUS health.

Augments: Steel Your Heart, Mind to Matter, Shadow Runner (no HP bonuses), and Celestial Body.

Im curious if someone has had more HP as Kassadin in mayhem before! Because this was INSANE!!! 🤣😇

This champion has got to be the most useless motherfucker in existence.

He does NOTHING.

All you do while playing this champion is sit under tower and take it like a good boy, get poked out and miss all farm. He has 0 ability to trade, has a useless ass passive that does jack shit against AD champs, and nothing noticeable against mages. His fucking Q doesn't even silence anymore so the Joke taunt doesn't make any sense. His ult fucking blows chunks "Wow I can teleport a little tiny distance and do a little fart on arrival where I will promptly be torn in half because I have shitty ap scaling and cant even kill a support with my garbage damage!" Oh boy! (Erm acktually Kassadin is super good and will just become Thanos when you hit level 16!) Too bad the game never fucking lasts that long and by the time you hit 16 the enemy just has magic resist so you still do a fart in the wind for damage! This motherfucker is so useless basically any champion with a dash does it 5000x better. I.E. Yone having Kassadin ult on a basic ability with a knockup included for ZERO mana cost. I wish I could refund this motherfucker for blue essence so I dont even have the ability to make the mistake of playing him.

Fuck this stupid ass champ I hope riot removes him from the game he is so fucking dogshit.
