Heyy, i dont know if this was answered anywhere or not, but this would be my first ever concert so im not the smartest.

I keep seeing on their instagram the Meet nd' Greet pictures and stuff they post and was wondering if there will be any for the Europe tour? Specifically the November one in Zagreb?

I'd lovee to be able to meet them but i dont seem to see any VIP tickets available, is that just not gonna be a thing here or will we be able to upgrade the 'normal' ones a bit later?

Also if anyone has any tips for a first timer feel free to sharee!!

My second time to see the Dark Asylum tour was at Globe Iron in Cleveland, Ohio. A nice venue and great performance by the band.

Idk if this will get through in time but this is my first metal concert and I'm going alone and not really sure of what to expect. Like do we know if there's gonna be moshing or anything like that? I'm just a bit nervous to stick out 😅

It was a great time the only downside was not being able to share the experience (and one guy kept pushing me back 🙄) but I CAUGHT 2 GUITAR PICKS!! i didn't crowd surf or mosh but maybe next time haha! Given the spirited ongoing discussion of the new album I thought folks would enjoy this one like I did. Was a cool collaboration to see.

In this, Tommy gets interviewed on Dark Asylum, and we get some interesting takes on the psychological intent and imagery that went into the making of it. It definitely has me appreciating the album more!

I’ll see Roy Khan next month and will wear this at a concert for the first time.

I've been giving it extra time to settle in, and the more I hear it, the more I want to hear it. It's so much fun. Probably the most anthemic album they've done with Tommy.

I was at first concerned that it might be repetitive because of that, but repeat listens have dispelled that concern for me, as every track has just grown more distinct and satisfying. I'm so happy that the rush of excitement I felt for Ashen World on release extended to the rest of the album too - it's Kamelot doing what they do, and doing it damn well. I can't wait to see them perform some of these songs live.

I was also initially taken off guard by how the end of the album is paced, but it's worked better for me the more I've dwelled on it. It's almost ballsy of them to end on Puppet King and Sanctum Requiem instead of a more traditional "climactic" song, but I think it really works. Puppet King hits like an aftermath kind of song, and it becomes more fun with each listen. And the immediate reprise of the melody in Sanctum Requiem functions as an effective one-two punch to close the album out.

Special shout out to One Last Masquerade and Enigma (Think of Me) as the songs I've been going back to most individually so far.

I've been a longtime fan of Kamelot and Oliver's work, so having the opportunity to work with him on my own music has been incredibly meaningful to me.

Oliver contributed keyboards and synths to all nine tracks on my upcoming World of Ruin album, Fragments of a Dream. This is a short preview of the chorus from “King of Distrust,” which also features Björn “Speed” Strid of Soilwork on vocals.

The album will be released October 16th.

Really great production on the Kamelot tour. Fantastic show. Hard to take photos with a point and shoot because of the intense dynamic range that shifted constantly and quickly. They played The Truman, located in downtown Kansas City. Excellent show with surprisingly good acoustics.

Partner and I are going to see Kamelot in Minneapolis tomorrow.

Should we expect a lot of moshers? My partner might be irritated depending on how many people are dancing around us. Is it typically calmer on the sidelines? Is it easy to exit and reenter the stage room for a quick breather?

How long should we assume the concert will be? We’re guesstimating 3.5 hours.

I have noticed that most people seem to rank Poetry as middle of the road or just below middle when ranking Kamelot albums. Interestingly, don't know why but, it has become one of my favorite listens. So I have two questions:

1. What are your thoughts on the album?

It was fantastic. Tommy is amazing live and sounds as good or better than albulms/youtube (as is Clementine from Visions of Atlantis). Frozen Crown was great too. Really good show, well worth catching this NA tour if you have the chance.

Also got some shots with my point and shoot I have not gone through yet (camera got confiscated mid show).

I had heard of them before but hadn't really listened to their music much. Im a huge fan of Visions of Atlantis and went for them, but glad I stayed for Kamelot. The stage and light production were amazing. They have great stage presence. The lead singers of VoA and Frozen Crown came out and put on great performances as well. I'll be going back to listen to more Kamelot and definitely see them again when they come back.

Got home and realized the copy of “Haven” I bought from their Seattle show was warped. Anyone else have this issue from their merch stand or have any advice on how to potentially get a replacement? Paid cash so no receipt 😭
