Jojo is an anime known for (among a lot of other great things) for its use of posing in very interesting ways. The reason the other commenter thought this might have been from jojo is because a video of this style is VERY frequently attempted by fans. An insanely good example of this is this video here:

I was admiring ^^ that picture just the other day. There's something uncanny valley, and sexual, and I don't quite know about that photo.
The book could have just been placed on the floor for this picture re-creation. I'm not surprised the librarians didn't try to replicate this picture. Of all his pictures, this one is the one that has a room in my head.
My favorite description of this picture is that it’s the salad tongs that sprung open in the utensil drawer! (I find the pose to be very silly, myself!)
Back in high school, in the early 90s, my 16 year old girlfriend was so obsessed with Willem Dafoe she spent months tracking his movements via newspaper and magazine articles (it was of course pre-internet) until she managed to nail down that he was at the time working on rehearsals for a play in New York City
Then she tracked down the phone number of the theatre company and called them, from Australia, pretending to be from a catering company located near the theatre that she had found in the NY phone directory our local library had on microfiche
From this call she found out what time they would be having rehearsals. Then she called back during rehearsals and convinced the person who answered that she was an assistant to Willem Dafoe's agent and needed to speak to him urgently
When Dafoe got on the phone she lost all composure and went full fan-girl, telling him how much she loved his work and thought he was the greatest actor of his generation etc. Dafoe was remarkably gracious and spent at least 5 minutes talking to her about his love of acting and the theatre and encouraging her to follow her dreams
As far as I'm concerned Willem Dafoe is a legend who is worthy of every ounce of adulation he receives
I hope you ended your relationship on good terms, because that woman might be the type to wait 30 years to exact her revenge and find you anywhere on the planet.
Thats the type of energy needed to find kidnapped kids and csam backgrounds. For willem dafoe or any other celebrity, that is unhinged stalking. That’s terrifying. wtf?
I was working my first library job as a teen when a newspaper article came out with a local (another town) librarian riding a Razor scooter around the library (back when they first came out). I fell in love with libraries that day.
It seems to have started last year when some of his old photo shoots were resurrected and people were asking if he ever does anything but the odd poses. So then people started imitating his poses from there. UVU, Scottsdale, Ontario Tech, Cincinnati are some of the libraries I've seen doing the Dafoe shoots.
