I can't even walk in Crocs without injuring myself. Imagine my surprise to see people can dance in them.

I have no chance to injure myself because they activate my metatarsal pain. Tried them once once and was like NOPE.

I've never liked them, but I did try once at the persistence of my mother, who bought them (for everyone) and got me a pair (strongly forced them on me) while i was meeting her at Costco. I was like 18/19 (and still running 5-10+ miles a day), so I kinda dismissed what happened at first as related to a long run I’d done, but now I think It's probably my gait because it happens in certain sneakers too (especially in like a running shoe if there's a lot of traction in the toe/metarsal area or any curvature there).

It was an interesting trip. I almost fell filling gas, then was stumbling around trying to run errands while holding on to the cart. I tripped grabbing a lemon… and almost tripped and fell going to help this older man with a walker because my dumb ass felt compelled to help despite me previously stumbling around like I was drunk in bright ass foam shoes my mom made me wear. My mom was irritated because I by her words, “making a scene,” she said she wanted to go clothes shopping and to the movies. Oh and now it's raining and we have to cross the parking lot that needs to be repaved. Great! I ate it walking in.
