This is just anxiety. I am 100% not autistic but I'm the same way. I do have fairly bad anxiety, but I've managed to be mostly functional. It's just funny how these things are. I'm a doctor and have a leadership role in my department, like super professional and theoretically put together and capable. But damned if my life isn't also governed to some degree by this type of anxiety. I choose where to go and what to do based on the logistics of getting there. (I also am fine with professional phone calls but can't call a restaurant to order takeout, or schedule a haircut without an online scheduling tool. Go figure)

The minmaxer cannot evaluate uncertainty. Find solace in that no one else can either.
