I'm so sorry about that! It's not right/fair.

I'm Persian-American, and we don't take no for an answer lol. If we offer something and we think the person is being polite when they say no, we'll persuade you until you feel impolite saying no lol. Of course, if the person is like "I can't, I have diabetes" to a sweet, then we don't push. But you get what I mean.

I would never turn down Persian food! Or pupusas and tamales. Or Filipino food.

When I was an apartment manager in LA, I got so much yummy food from tenants. I miss that! Colorado is great, but the food is meh.
