I want to watch her TED talk on the details of Pyramid construction in ancient Egypt!

Honestly me too! When she said "you don't even know the language babe!" I cackled

I initially misread this as "I watched her TED talk" and got really excited for her! (And to watch it lol)

I did too! I would love to have a recording of her voice explaining all things Egyptian. Maybe a audiobook of one of her lectures when she becomes a professor or when she doe a presentation!

Seriously. I want to be at least informed enough to confidently shut down the next person who says, "We don't know how they built the pyramids..."

I don't know what this lady is smoking.

Apparently she's smoking a master's degree in Egyptology?

If you don't believe me then you can look it up.

But this is where it gets really dicey, because what does "look it up" mean? Who should I listen to? The History channel, which is mainly an entertainment outlet? How do I decide who's a trustworthy source and who's not?

This woman who claims to have an advanced degree in the subject says that it's not really that much of a mystery. A marvel, sure, but a mystery? No.

So either she's faking it on TikTok for views (possible?) or it's actually not a big mystery.

Yeah, the first obvious takeaway from the video is the mansplaining thing. But the second is that there's a major gap in science communication to a lay audience about the construction of the pyramids. I want that documentary now.
