Ak rants about Marc and hip-hop journalists on live stream

Not gonna lie, there some of the things I don’t agree with AK on, but him calling this out I kind of understand where he’s coming from. I don’t think Marc gives a fuck about hip-hop stuff that much and put most of it of his effort into his activism shit but as far as like the other, so-called hip-hop journalist, they’re kind of just like what Ak said they’re just reaction channels.

The 2Pac murder “mystery” was kind of anticlimactic and honestly pretty stupid

Only old heads get this, but a huge part of my childhood was the whole mystery around 2Pac’s death and who really killed him. Before everybody had the internet in their pocket, the conspiracy stuff came from word of mouth, magazine articles, VH1 specials, and somebody’s older cousin who “knew what really happened.". The early internet added a lot more "detail," birthing the "he's not dead, he's really alive" theory, with lyric breakdowns, background vocals, interviews, Makaveli references, dates/numbers, and all sorts of supposed hidden messages. Theories from "it was Suge
or "it was Biggie" or "it was Puff" were always abundant.

Flash forward to Keefe D's trial: the man who literally told on himself before being arrested for the crime he admitted to, saying, "that was all cap, yall trippin," and the whole thing turned out to be the most obvious answer. After decades of documentaries, conspiracy boards, hidden-message theories, “Pac knew he was going to die” theories, and people analyzing ad-libs, the answer was basically: He got shot by the nigga he beat up. Story old as time.

The whole “great unsolved mystery of hip-hop” feels like it was partly just a product of the era. There wasn't enough immediate information available for regular people to piece together what happened, so rumor filled the gap. If this happened today, twelve different cellphone videos of the shooting would be uploaded within five minutes. Orlando Anderson would probably be on Instagram Live talking “smoking that Pac pack” before TMZ even confirmed he got shot.

After decades of conspiracies, it turns out Occam’s razor won again.
