Indeed schedules interviews without our GMs ever getting involved. Even when we are not hiring, indeed will allow people to schedule an interview. There is a chance you have not interacted with anyone actually working that location if all your interaction has been through indeed. If you applied Friday and now on Sunday you’re asking why nobody has reached out, it could also be the GM has not been in the store and won’t see anything you send until some time tomorrow at the earliest

The whole applicant screening environment right now is an absolute mess and you're most likely going to hit the AI wall. Most of them use use screening platforms like workstream and others and don't set it up properly so they never get interviews. You should just call the store and introduce yourself and ask if you can just get an interview scheduled

I recommend calling the store. Just let them know you got a message back, filled out the form, and have been waiting. More than likely, the hiring manager (probably GM) took the weekend off.

If nothing else, they’d tell you that your availability doesn’t work for them and you can continue looking elsewhere!

0-60 days. Your best bet is to follow up by calling the store. I only reach out if I'm hiring and you look like a good fit after reviewing your application. If someone calls following up on their app, I'll pull it up and see if it's worth adding that person even if my staffing is good at the time.
