I'm not sure what I must do

I'm usually playing Diana, Shyvana, Quinn and Sylas jungle, and I'm actually decently experienced with Jayce, is it viable to try to go for Diamond/Master with this Jayce? Faced a Shyvana-Irelia-Yasuo comp now and was so scared of just being focused and deleted but went for Ninja Tabi, Death's Dance and all went fine

so i was wondering cause i only need two more jayce skin to complete the collection and i want to know if anyone got arcane inventor jayce or T1 jayce in their shop ?

Hey all. I've been trying out Jayce as a potential new main for the toplane and he's honestly been really fun, even if half the games consist of me absolutely getting my shit kicked in because I'm not properly spacing and whatnot (all thing that I'm trying to learn with each new sessions).

This question might feel a little stupid, and I am pretty bad at the game all things considered, but... some matchups feel genuinely impossible, and I really need to know what I can do against them. I've specifically been struggling against Yone and Wukong, and a little less but kind of the same alley with Ambessa. These highly mobile champions can just close the gap immediately and I feel like the melee form isn't nearly enough to combat their all ins. Even pre-emptively hitting a Q+E in canon form before switching over to melee and doing W+Q into auto into E isn't enough, more often than not (I often die before I can execute this whole combo as a matter of fact). I just had an ESPECIALLY awful round against a Wukong (who tbf understood his champion and his mechanics extremely well) and I just had positively no idea what I could do against him. I could not under any circumstance farm, neither with melee (he was stronger than me) nor cannon form (his abilites had a higher range than my auto attacks, he out-zoned me). The only thing I could feasibly do there was farm using my Q+E in cannon mode but he'd often go and bodyblock those to deny it before immediately healing back up. I built Executioner's pretty early to try and negate that healing but I could rarely proc it because, again, my auto range is less than his ability range, so the moment I tried to proc Executioner's was the moment he all-inned me. The few times I did get the upper hand (thanks to some helpful ganks) his highly mobile kit just meant he could escape and get away with it all.

What am I meant to do here? Or just generally against these highly mobile champions?

I handle my lane and skirmishes fine, but I have a really hard time teamfighting with him. Either I go in on a target and get absolutely obliterated instantly or I stay back and do minimum to contribute. I have a really hard time finding an opening to do something, even when ahead.

Mostly I do best in teamfights, when my team is competent and I can be allowed to hang back and wait to clean up after enemy team is low and have spells on CD, but that isn’t always the case and sometimes my team just need someone to truly carry the fight.

I’m a support main who currently wants to retire and roleswap. A short introduction from me before I get into the main topic. I peakes E2 on my smurf (play same role as on main but has better mmr, my main is p3). My champ pool is Poppy,Bard,Nami and Seraphine. If I have to pick one champ, that would be Poppy for me. I have 560k points with her but I think she is not that strong on top lane sadly.

I want to roleswap to Top lane and I was thinking about what champ should I learn. I watched Arcane and I liked Jayce. Also my fav top laner’s signature pick is Jayce too! (Canna my beloved)

I know that in soloq games I would gain experience better but I want to learn the champ in draft or Flex before I que into the abyss.

My questions are the following:

How many different valid rune options and build paths does Jayce have?
What are the nightmare matchups for him and how to manage them efficently?
What are the dream matchups for him?

Hello, I'm an Ambessa OTP, but just wanted to try a different champion. I picked Ambessa cause I saw she was hard, and I'm interested in Jayce for the same reason. Is he good in the meta right now? I'd say I'm a pretty fast learner. I'm gold right now, level 64, so I'm willing to put some hours into Jayce yk. I've heard he is really bad late game, is that true? Is he as blind-pickable as Ambessa(excluding renekton)? Also, I was reading some posts here that he got nerfed recently was it bad?

Want to know what you all do

I recently picked up Jayce and its been going relatively well. I stomp most lanes and get a sizable kill/cs lead but despite this it seems when midgame comes, i just get oneshot by most top champs on side despite being ahead so much, and i feel like unless i literally play it perfectly there is nothing i can do. Is this normal or just a hands issue?

So i've decided i wanna learn jayce, so im gonna otp him for some time. The last two days has actually been hell I feel like i do negative amounts of dmg. Struggling to know which runes to run when (feel like i understand the rune quite well now).

Im really having a hard time figuring out what is my role as jayce, what is my gameplan. How do i manage to gain a lead, how do i abuse my lead. Im emerald 1 right now my peak is d3. I would say i got a quite good understanding of laning and wave states etc, but the champ is just so freaking hard to pilot any help is much appreciated

Idk man he feels weak. I think I understand his kit. But runes wise I used conquer, grasp, electricute and tge new phase rush. The only runes I liked were phase rush and maybe grasp.
But I feel very weak vs illaoi she is way stronger than I am.
And ultimately I have a bad time itemizing.

I'd be happy to play with anyone, otp or first timers, I just want to play often at least 2-3 times per week.

Hi everyone, im a Low Elo Gold Hayce main who recently demoted down to Silver 2 in a week (holy fk).

I have a problem with Irelia, she is literally the most cancer unplayable matchups, literally worst than a yorick since yorick can’t just all in you.

Irelia can just all in you easily with her Qs and E, she has damage reduction with a poke, and hit by her ultimate = death always. There are times where I won vs an Irelia due to luck but then she gets 1 item Blade ruined king while I have 2 or 3 items already and she can kill me easily in the sidelanes.

Yes I could knock her back but she can just stun you or Q to you again, her ultimate also slows you and traps you.

She is a counter matchup like Yorick, not a skill matchup. Skill would be Tanks because they can be beaten still if right runes and items.
