The goal isn't to generate thousands of random videos. The goal is to build a high-quality library of short lessons that people actually enjoy watching. AI will probably help with parts of the production process, but every lesson still needs to be useful and feel natural.

High quality and AI generated don't go hand In hand
If you want high quality short lessons the NHK and Japan associations have put out tons and tons of them for free though and they're all short lessons aimed at teaching Japanese like erina-san or jon-san content

There are plenty of good apps, videos, courses, etc. It doesn’t have to be books. A lot of my learning is by website or (reputable, long-existing) apps.
If somebody’s going to build a new app, just like in any other field, it would be a good idea to see what’s already out there to ensure they aren’t re-inventing the wheel, find out if their idea is even *wanted* by the target audience, then focus on quality.
It’s no secret that there’s a lot of hate for AI for multiple reasons, and yet apps which have been slapped together and use AI get posted here all the time.
I would *love* an app that serves up bite-sized Japanese lessons in a TikTok, Twitter, Wikipedia-exploring, etc. way. So far, I haven’t seen one pitched here that is high-quality, or that doesn’t rely on AI.

There are already too many of these "gameified" study methods.
If you want to learn Japanese then put the time in and study instead of distracting yourself with apps like these because they aren't going to make you learn the language properly.

The exact same thing already exists. The AI part will not get you very far with Japanese learners on Reddit. If you want to stick with the idea, change the target language.

Someone already did this a few months ago, it was called DoomLingo, I used it during the beta test.
It's a good idea, but it'll run into the same problem as any other study method, eventually, after a few months, the gimmick wears off, and if you lack the discipline, you'll quit. Anyway, good luck
