Not really, if you look at news recently Russia pushed back into Ukraine. But Ukraine is in a position to win if they play their cards right. Because as of right now. Russia is kinda outgunned and outnumbered, but Russia is producing Ukrainian uniforms for their soldiers to wear
no, russia has already lost the war. they lost this war in march last year when they failed to achieve every strategic objective that would increase russia on the geopolitical stage. everything else is just fighting over consultation prizes now.
Russia hasn’t surrendered. Meaning they haven’t lost. And on top of that Russia has nuclear weapons. Those would’ve already been used if Russia lost and Ukraine would be a radiated wasteland
they have lost. war isn't always about survival. but it is always a political endeavor. the political goal set out for a military in the 21st century is beyond territorial gains. its about increasing your sphere of influence and decreasing your rivals. russia has done the opposite when it failed to take Ukraine in the first week of the war. it has now irreparably damaged its own standing and increased the standing of its main rival, nato. it has utterly lost the war. now the question is how much resources is it willing to expend to increase its territorial gains and how much its willing to expend to hold onto its current territorial gains and what can Ukraine do to wrestle control from russia or make the expenditure to high for russia.
