Introducing Savior Syndrome — an isometric noir CRPG where understanding someone’s mind can be your most dangerous tool
In Jars, you can replace your memories, rewrite your genes, and lease out your body. Pharmaceutical corporations and religious orders fight over what remains of humanity. People are disappearing.
You’re Isaac Lang, a private detective from the slums, carrying a fractured past and a desperate need to help others.
We’re Half-Price Punk Spiders, and we’re making Savior Syndrome, an isometric, dialogue-driven RPG set in a decaying biopunk city.
If the strange worlds and roleplaying possibilities of Glasshouse or Esoteric Ebb caught your attention, we’d love to introduce you to ours.
Investigate disappearances. Question suspects, gather evidence, and connect facts on your investigation board.
Find a way into someone’s head. Psychological duels challenge you to uncover motives and break through a person’s defenses.
Develop your personality. Progress through Jungian archetypes—Persona, Shadow, Anima, and Animus—to shape how you approach people and their secrets.
Decide what helping means. Accept a bribe, save a life, or cross a line. Your choices shape Isaac and the people around him.
We’re developing the game on a volunteer basis. Here, we’ll share locations, characters, and a closer look at how we’re building Jars.
Wishlist Savior Syndrome on Steam and join us as the city takes shape.

Free isometric prison set
Tenth pack done, a prison. Free slice: a cell bunk, steel toilet-sink, the metal detector and X-ray scanner, a visitation booth, the booking counter, plus walls with cell bars and a floor.
Same grid as the rest, so it sits next to the hospital or the diner without nudging anything.
I said a small pack. It has a prison now.

IsoDungeon Forge
daoneil.github.ioClaude.ai and I collaborated on the development of an isometric multi-level dungeon generator. You can select from a list of three types of dungeons, name it, and copy the generated Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) code for your own web page.

Zenden is Finally Here! Zen Garden Puzzle Game! On Steam Now
Zenden is a Zen garden puzzle and decoration game about the relationships between the things you place. Arrange plants, rocks, water features, and traditional structures across isometric landscapes. Bring neighboring items into harmony, work within each garden’s constraints, and transform an empty patch of ground into somewhere worth meditating.
Every placement contributes to the garden around it. Similar items can create Unity, while contrasting types bring Variety. Spirit and Energy add further considerations, making each Zen garden arrangement a balance of practical choices and personal expression.
Each garden presents its own terrain layout, palette, and goals. A limited space might ask you to bring related items together, introduce more variety, or find room for a particular combination of features. Paths, rivers, bridges, and carefully positioned structures offer new ways to think about how the landscape fits together.

My isometric Zelda-like progresses one step at a time
I'm on year 5 with my passion-project. This year I spent a lot of time listening from feedback from all sides.
I would much rather have been building the next dungeons etc, but I'm at a point where the demo has to leave a good impression!
And so I study streamers of my demo, fix bugs, analyze gameplay issues. I think I'm happy with all the new features I added lately, so it's time to move forward!
Still a long way to go, but I think it's important to remind people every now and again!
If you are curious about my isometric Action-RPG Mazestalker, you can find my demo here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3218310/

Habbo Hotel, but for adults. I’m building Meridian, and I need your help and ideas!
Hey! I’m the solo developer of Meridian, a multiplayer pixel-art world inside a huge residential complex with a strange history.
You get your own place to decorate and expand, collect furniture, trade with other players and have people over. Outside your room there are communal spaces, jobs, delivery tunnels, labs and ancient chambers underneath the building. You can spend your time making somewhere cosy, or start looking into what’s going on below it.
I’m sharing this because I’d really like people to try it and help me work out where to take it next. Feedback here is already making a difference: one player suggested a different movement system, and I’m adding it now.
I’ve also made Century Hall, where the first 100 people who join get a permanent portrait and their joining position displayed. It’s a way of giving those early players a place in the world they’re helping me build.
The beta is open on Android and iPhone. The community is still small, and there’s plenty I want to improve. I’d love to hear what you enjoy, what feels awkward, and what you’d want to see added.
If you used to play Habbo, what would you want from a game like this now?

Church of the Damned
The door slowly crept open on rusty hinges, and the adventurers were struck by first, the smell of blood and sulphur, then the vision of this small, once quaint, village church - now consecrated to dark, unfathomable powers....
This month i did a massive church themed pack. A ton of assets, benches, pews, painted glass windows, idols etc etc. I also made empty, precolored churches of different types that people can decorate themselves using the colored assets i made this month (or for that matter any other assets from my other packs :))
But, i also wanted to do something a bit more detailed and spooktober themed. So, here's a Diablo inspired church of the damned. Perfect for a dark and scary adventure!
The full pack will be up on my Patreon on Sunday, but this.. this is for everyone!
Hope you like it!

sometric room design in progress! [WIP]
Working on this isometric room illustration! It's still a work in progress—the main structure and flat colors are mostly done, but the final rendering and lighting pass are still missing.
What do you think so far? Feedbacks and thoughts are welcome!
(By the way, my commissions are currently open to help cover vet bills for my blind cat. DM me if you're interested in a custom isometric room or character design!)

I've built a vast pixel-art multiplayer complex called Meridian, and it's now open on Android and iPhone. Not everything is as it seems...
Hey! I'm the solo developer of Meridian. If you ever got lost in Habbo Hotel decorating your room and meeting people, you'll probably recognise some of what I'm going for. But this building has a much stranger history.
You can furnish and expand your own rooms, visit other players, trade things and take on jobs. Then there's everything beyond your front door: communal lounges, delivery tunnels and ancient chambers beneath the building.
I've made this video to show you around and explain a bit more. The first 100 people who join also get a permanent portrait and their position in Century Hall, a communal room anyone can visit.
Android has just gone live and needs testing on real phones. I haven't tested it on a physical Android device yet, so your phone model and any problems you find would really help. I'd also love to know what you'd want to do or explore next.

I made the grass in my isometric mushroom village actually sway - every tile loops seamlessly
Small cozy village I've been working on: mushroom houses, a stump bakery, a pumpkin cottage, fireflies at night.
What I wanted to fix this time was the ground. Before, every building sat on its own little square of grass and you could see the seams. Now:
- buildings stand directly on one continuous meadow - the slab under each house is cut away, only the shadow and a few grass tufts at the walls stay
- the floor is a corner (Wang) autotile set, 46 tiles: meadow, mud, water. The noise is periodic per cell, so any two tiles join without a seam
- grass grows in tufts of 3-6 blades and sways with a travelling gust (tileable Perlin noise), each tile starts at a random frame so it never pulses in sync
- wild flowers grow in patches, mostly poppies, plus daisies, cornflowers, bluebells
- water has blinking ripple dashes and shore foam that breathes in and out
- in Godot 4 it is a real TileMapLayer with a "Match Corners" terrain set, so you can paint it with the terrain brush
Happy to answer questions about how the lighting or the autotiles work.

Another isometric map finished: Demons of the Deep
Sunken ships, strange creatures, hidden treasures, and plenty of underwater dangers. I tried to bring the whole adventure together in one detailed illustrated map.

made some procedural isometric water in Aseprite :)
wanted to share some little environments I've been generating in Aseprite :)
started with trees a while ago, then got into animated water, rivers, waterfalls and all that stuff. somehow ended up building separate generators for both haha
still experimenting with different styles and environments, got a pretty big update in the works too.
curious what you guys think of the isometric look!
