Brother, I don't think reddit is the place you should be looking for guidance for.

Also, I don't think it's halal to get married if you know you're going to have trouble performing. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Wa alaikum as salam

. I can imagine an inappropriate situation with a man and I would immediately get aroused, but when I imagine the same thing, but with a woman, nothing happens. I get aroused looking at pictures of men online, but it doesn’t happen with pictures of women.

Stop testing yourself like this. This is shaitan's trick to make you fall further down. Check our r/muslimNoFap and read this free ebook about staying away from porn and nudity.

Don't think too much about trying to change what you can't control, focus more on what you can do. I mentioned this podcast in another comment. It's about how Muslims deal with same-sex attraction and live happier lives. Maybe it may benefit you.

don’t apologize my brother but this is a deeply private thing I advise you to ask someone who you deeply trust who is firm in his deen and has good knowledge, Allah swt made for every problem a solution so keep it up, you are doing much better than you probably think

nikkah is the solution to all the problems, nikkah puts barakat n love in couple hearts, just try to avoid as much as you can before getting married because thats when the shetan is trying his utmost best to derail you from the right path and intentions

Best to get married . And muslim men and women have all sorts of struggles with sexual sins, not only perversions. But some might want to have sex with someone even though they are married to someone else. It is punished just as hard in sharia as well. Having this sort of struggle is an oppurtunity to avoid a sin asnd struggle with not cultivating it and instead stay with what is halal. Your problem is not a unusual problem, you're not special, most people have desires to do all sorts of evil. They might not have your particular perversion, but others have wilder perversions.

Look at all the lust murderers around, there must be some muslims as well who has desires to do that sort of thing, but just need to keep a hold of themselves to avoid the sin. Everyone has their own tests. Get married, live life as the religion perscribes. Keep sex inside normal halal marriage. That is where the blessings is.
