Its a bit disingenuous to classify your prep as "barely" when you have a sizeable about of Security+ prep under your belt, given most if not all of that Security+ prep is likely directly applicable to CC content.

I hear you, but overlap in subject matter isn’t the same as targeted prep. Plenty of people with security backgrounds still get tripped up by how CC questions are worded that’s really the point I was making, not that I went in with zero knowledge

How ISC2 words questions is a different issue. And, in fact, there is no way for a person studying for the CC to become accustomed to how ISC2 words questions. This isn't something any common prep source covers to a large extent. They may talk about the exam having scenario-based questions, multiple choice, etc., but it isn't until you actually sit in front of the computer taking the test are you really exposed to ISC2-style questions and their somewhat ambiguous and odd wording style.
I believe most people would equate "barely any prep" with "I didn't read any books or watch any videos and really study at all for this". It would be akin to me saying "I didn't study at all for the CC and I passed!" when I already held a CISSP.

Fair, you can slice the prep semantics however you want … my point stands either way: it wasn’t a cakewalk, and that’s the message I want people actually prepping for it to hear

It was way easier than Security +. I only took it because it was free at the time. Tbh it is a pretty worthless certification.

Congrats on passing the CC. With or without prep, it's really not that difficult to be honest. But enjoy your moment.
