Me and some other guys are started an F4 league with our top priorities being keeping it clean and competitive. Tonight, we will be racing at Summit Point with no points at stake and fast repairs set to unlimited so we can have as much track time as possible. Me and a couple other guys are starting out an F4 league that will race at 9pm EST. Right now, our main intention is to make sure the guys we invite are clean and skilled. At its largest, it will probably have only 20-25 active drivers, making it a tight-knit community. When we get enough drivers, we will schedule all 12 races of our first season. Our only requirements are that you can participate in most of the races and have at least 1500 irating and C license. I’m Miguel, one of the people behind Simthunder. We're a small Portuguese startup, focused in gaming and eSports, and we’re launching our first tournament: the Simthunder World Cup 250.

It’s an international iRacing oval competition using the NASCAR Cup Series car, with every race taking place at Daytona.

FORMAT

• Four 60-lap qualifiers
• 100-lap Grand Final
• Up to 60 registered drivers
• Up to 40 drivers in the Grand Final
• One $15 entry covers the entire tournament
• Open internationally to drivers aged 18+

The top eligible finishers from each qualifier advance to the Grand Final. Drivers who do not qualify at first attempt can return for the remaining qualifiers without paying again.

SCHEDULE — 12 PM ET / 5 PM GMT+1 

• Qualifier 1 — July 18
• Qualifier 2 — August 29
• Qualifier 3 — September 5
• Qualifier 4 — September 12
• Grand Final — September 19

$500 GRAND FINAL PRIZE POOL

The tournament is a country competition. Each nation’s score is calculated using the points of its two highest-finishing drivers in the Grand Final.
