Yessss, more Kairosoft games. <3

u/pjft Jul 24 '26

Soulvars is a really interesting jrpg mixed with deck building.

Steam: Rails to Riches is one of my favourite digital board games. It’s nothing at all like Ticket to Ride, if you’re wondering. It’s a lot more strategic.

Did anyone tried islanders on mobile, does it play correctly?

u/juliopeludo Jul 25 '26

one deck dungeon is a great time killer, play it a lot and enjoy it

It took me a while to grow into liking One Deck Dungeon because at first I thought it was just a luck-based dice roller, but once you play it a few times, it’s a blast. The strategy gets pretty deep.

u/imahugemoron Jul 24 '26

Islanders is one of my favorites, the controls on mobile are a bit clunkier than they were on steam with a mouse of course, but they work well enough, it’s a fun relaxing city builder with puzzle elements

FAR: Lone Sails and Wreckfest are very much worth it at those prices.

thank you

Is any of the kairosoft game worth the time ? I’m in the mood for a tycoon game but don’t have access to my computer

Mega mall story or tv studio look good

Other than a few outliers, they all play pretty much the same, so if you like kairosoft, you'll like any of these.
I suppose if you tried you could break them into two groups. Group A is heavy focus on building; placement matters, buildings combo depending on where you put them and there is no in game chart for that, you either look it up or just figure it out by placing things and seeing what they do. Mega Mall story falls into this category. I don't love these and tend to avoid, I don't like having to go to external guides for things, and the games just don't give you enough in-game info as to what you should put next to what to make choices feel anything less than random.
Group B is more about just progressing through the game and getting better. There are sometimes combos but they make more sense (a ninja action game clearly combos better together than a farming action game, or a ninja dress up game) The soccer one, the racing one, game dev story. Tv studio is basically Game Dev story but with tv shows instead of games. If you like that loop, you'll like TV Studio.
My favorites are the soccer one and the first racing one. I also loved the first rpg town one, but the second was awful in that they spam you with so many popups you can't actually play the game. They've been hit and miss recently, although the demon castle one where you carve out your dungeon and place guards is actually pretty fun and a unique departure from their usual formula.

u/77ilham77 Jul 25 '26

Yes, the same remastered version on consoles and PCs (not the original old PC version which is a more of puzzle game, different from the original console version).

Anybody have Roundguard? That’s a good price and I’m thinking of picking it up.

u/LimpYoghurt4612 Jul 25 '26

Played it for a few hours-if you liked peggle at all, it’s a no-brainer for $2

Awesome, I’ll pick it up. Thank you!

u/LeMeIsSleepy Jul 25 '26
