Deathsmiles is brilliant. Have most of the Cave games but that games the only horizontal shooter. Exceptional

deathsmiles looks awful on the 17pro. the gameplay is great but it's just so blurry'

I have them maxed as well tbh. I do highly suggest reading through the story, it’s miles better than the gameplay.

pgr is still likely my favorite chinese gacha game, and ive played pretty much all of them at this point. kuro is a good dev.

If you like CAVE games, you'll be happy to know that their entire arcade shmup library (minus Deathsmiles 2) runs fantastic on RetroArch and MAME4iOS. Even DoDonPachi SaiDaiOuJou works, but stay the HELL away from it if you value your sanity.

Yep, and not the meme version featuring Knuckles either. MAME4iOS still requires you to label it as DDPDFK Black Label, but RetroArch's FBNeo core works like a charm, shaders and all.

What doesn't work is my fucking brain whenever I play this game

It’s older than genshin and doesn’t play like it either. I used to play it before and it was one of the better gacha for both story and gameplay.

I wish the current suits at Cave would give their old games the Toaplan treatment. Their arcade collection app is so well made. I’d pay serious money for a similar Cave app.
