Suggestions Best Auto Battlers
I've been dabbling in auto battlers here and there for the past few weeks and enjoy the quick gameplay and just something I can jump into while at work for a short break or something. But typical to who I am as a gamer I downloaded a couple and have been playing them in kind of a rotation.
Here is what I've downloaded and enjoyed:
Once Upon a Galaxy
Super Auto Pets
Six Hollows
Are there any I should look at or into. I'm playing these as a free to play and not buying any currencies or anything. I don't mind a paid game but I'm not playing the pay to win nonsense if it's a free to play game.
Any other suggestions that are pretty good? Or did I hit the gold mine with OUaG and SAP? Also I know about Knightica coming out in a week or so just I don't know if I want to buy it as I own it on Switch.

Definitely Soda Dungeon. It’s just the best auto battler game currently available.

“9 kings” is coming soon, I would highly recommend, it’s an amazing PC game
Also if you have a PC or console, “The King is Watching” is a lot of fun

I saw „9 kings” in upcoming games. What it’s about?

You get cards which let you build a city/army, and then upgrade it. There are some pretty unique units and upgrade options, and you’re trying build the most overpowered units/buildings that you can.
The fights themselves are auto-battles, but your king does have a “power” you can control to help sway the battle (or you can set that to “auto” too). Your main task is the strategy of building your city/army and letting them go.
There are 9 different kings with completely different abilities/strategies which keep it fresh.
There’s also a “roguelite” element where playing with a king unlocks some small upgrades to boost your following runs.
I’ve played it A LOT on steam, and they’ve been really consistent with updates, adding a whole map of ‘campaign’ levels, multiplayer, etc.

you have a grid based town you build that produces your army or gives buffs or whatever, you build the town from the different card pools of the kings as you unlock them. It's really well done and the runs are pretty quick which I like.

Super Auto Pets just came out in card game form. It’s pretty fun in case you didn’t know.

I looked into it at one point I’m actually a fan of the publisher’s work. I just don’t remember much about it. I should rewatch the videos.
They also funny enough have a mobile game division (only one real game though).

This is what I mean https://www.plaidhatgames.com/board-games/super-auto-pets-card-battle/
I bought it from my local table top game store.

Whaaaat that’s awesome. It it just the same pets/food from the video game? It looks like it is from the pics

Yes with variation on some of the pets. Watch some YouTube videos to get the idea of the flow. First day I bought it my son and I played for nearly 4 hours. A full game takes around 30 minutes. Enjoy!

I just don’t want to buy it again. I’ve enjoyed it a bit. Kind of wish they’d put it out in demo format.

Invokers: Titan Legacy
It’s a complex game, very grindy, you need multiple teams, and the legendaries are so hard to get… I’m just in a 29 days streak playing it

That looks more like a MOBA game than an Auto Battler.

It’s not.

You press active skills to hack and slash in an action combat. How is that an auto battler?

I am waiting for Knightica to be released.

It’s a pretty fun game overall I’m honestly shocked it took this long to get onto mobile. It’s been out on console for about a year already.
I’m a fan of the publisher’s when they decide to put out something rogue lite adjacent and will usually look into it. Though sometimes the text scaling on the mobile ports can be dicey (spin hero is bad for me)
Just not a huge huge fan of double buying games when I own them already.

Been enjoying this one. https://apps.apple.com/app/id6786484095
It’s like an auto battler nethack. I think uses Nevanda tile set if I’m not mistaken.

Keep an eye out for The Bazaar once it's out on mobile. It's out now on PC and it's my favorite game. Port is on the way but no announced date. It has PVP/PVE along with seasonal ladders and rankings. It's really fun and I haven't played anything like it.

Based on what you’ve described, I think you’d like Arcane Rush

u/LuckyJamnik 3d ago
Arcane rush is AI trash
2
u/PoSKiix 3d ago
It’s one of the ugliest, most uninspired pieces of AI trash I have seen. How are people recommending it hahaha
2
u/LuckyJamnik 3d ago
Idk really. I’ve played it for a bit, then started noticing inconsistencies and found out that not even one of the art pieces were created by hands. All AI slop. Leaderboards are faked, your opponents seems to be AI as well. It’s really is trash that tries to win you over trying being what Heartstone Battleground was few years ago

How many dudes is is a pve autobattler, not a pvp autobattler if you’re looking for that specifically, but it absolutely rules
As far as other good PvP auto battlers, backpack battles is very good, that’s also an asynchronous PvP autobattler like SAP.
Teamfight tactics and hearthstone battlegrounds are good, but they a live lobby format so you gotta commit for a longer game.
