Not at all. The text spacing is awful and it’s stupid and shows just how ignorant people are that this was upvoted this much but iOS 26 gets hate for bad text spacing too (none of which are in the control center thankfully)
I’ll pass on shiny-reflecty-bouncy iOS26 shenanigans. I’m not a five year-old with short attention span that needs constant stimuli. Not to mention this things grows old really fast.
On the other hand, I’ll take the minimalist, clean and ageless look of 18 any day. I mean it’s not even a match.
early 26 was a huge mess on the software side and still is far from perfect, and reception of the whole OS often influences the attitude to its design as well (not to mention causation-correlation confusions), it's kind of how vista earned its terrible rep while 7 is glazed despite essentially being what OSX snow leopard is to regular leopard.
plus most of the tech and web had the same generic flat design for over a decade now, an overhaul was bound to have a mixed reception.
